Pamela is an award-winning author for both adults and children. Her new novel, THE CHARLESTON SCANDAL, which she describes as 'Downton Abbey meets 42nd Street', will be available in November 2020. She had enormous fun writing it - with characters like Fred Astaire and Noel Coward, the research was endlessly entertaining! Her most recent story is a charming Regency romance novella in the collection TWELVE ROGUES OF CHRISTMAS. Her 'Anzac Series' historical novels, set in and after WWI include: THE SOLDIER'S WIFE, THE WAR BRIDE, A LETTER FROM ITALY and THE DESERT NURSE. Writing under the name Pamela Freeman, she writes both fiction and non-fiction for children. Pamela is also well known for her fantasy novels for adults, published by Orbit worldwide: the CASTINGS TRILOGY and her Aurealis Award winning novel, EMBER AND ASH. She has a Doctorate of Creative Arts from the University of Technology, Sydney, where she has also lectured in creative writing. Pamela lives in Sydney with her husband and their son, and teaches face-to-face and online at the Australian Writers’ Centre.
