Peter John was born in Africa, He grew up in Zimbabwe and South Africa and currently lives in the Far East. I love to write stories that challenge people’s perceptions, but most of all I love to write what captures my imagination. I’ve written romance, Science fiction/Fantasy and LitRPG. In every instance I have enjoyed creating something completely new, or at least with a different angle, simply to feel I’ve contributed to the respective genres, rather than just being another run of the mill entry. My first Series, the epic Abduction Chronicles saga traverses several Alien worlds where the main character builds his abilities (magic and other skills) to accomplish his goals and gets shanked at every turn. It combines military Sci-Fi, alien abduction, LitRPG, and Fantasy elements with severe doses of humour. Genesis, as the name suggests, is where it all starts for the characters. Arena is a continuation from where Genesis left off, and explores both the main characters motivations, and the world he’s stuck on, letting you really get to know his life before, while you watch his character grow in power. The last two installments of the quartet, due out soon, will feature many of the characters you have come to love, while building to a calamitous finale. The Secrets of the Sparkling Egg series, currently being released piecemeal on Royal Road (search profile: elBigBad) is more a coming of age story, where a young boy defies the odds to prove in the trust his deceased father left him. This will most likely be a three book series. My latest foray into writing has been an amalgam of my two greatest passions. Namely the African wilderness and the emotional nature of humans. The romance novel called “Zeenat’s Journey” found on Apple Books, explores a burgeoning romance while on safari, where literally everything goes wrong. The novel is short, to the point and filled with introspection. A wonderful gossip piece if you want to explore perspective's from other cultures as well as a fair amount of factual information about Africa’s wilderness and animals. Advice to all prospective Authors and Writers is to embrace the Goddess “Nike” and "Just do it". For those of you who take the plunge into my mind and worlds, I really appreciate the support. It is not an easy journey but I'm loving every step of the process. Finally I would like to thank you for your interest and encourage you to support the LitRPG genre in general.
