About this listen

A life sentence of boredom, that's what most people get out of retirement. For Colonel Petros Arkansas, it's the wildest ride he's ever been on, and as a former navy SEAL, he's been on quite a few.

The aliens who abduct him try to bend him to their ways. The shadow military force he joins tries to make him a better man. The mythical trainers try to shake him to his core...but he has ideas of his own.

Then, when the enemy forces try to take him, he's had about enough.

Hooyah!

A fantastical blend of fantasy, sci-fi, gamelit, and military brotherhood all in one wonderful story that even includes a princess.

Awesome!

I chose this book based on the overview. It has all the elements I love in a book, Mil. Sci-fi, fantasy and even some Gamelit. Everything comes together seamlessly and the story is totally original, nothing like the usual offerings. I can't wait for the next book.

Great Story. Really Captured My Imagination!

I really enjoyed this book, and am looking forward to the next one. It's a captivating story with quite a few surprises. I was expecting aliens, but got so much more!

Extremely bad narration

Unable to rate the story because the narrator is so bad I have the feeling he’s shouting at me all the time Not Kimberly Guilfoyle bad but nearly there. There is no possible way to just enjoy the book. Sorry might give it a try on paper but not here.

one of the worst

This book is horrible the near ater is incredibly robotic will say a few words long pause say few words long pause It really seems to me while the author is writing about military he actually has no idea how we think a navy seal pissed his pants because he heard A disembodied voice Then goes on to make other generalised comments about the way soldiers are My advice give this book a pass
