USA Today Best-Selling author, Richard Houston worked on the Space Shuttle at both Vandenberg AFB, and Houston Space center. After living in California, Oregon, Nevada and Colorado, he moved to Warsaw, Missouri to be on the lake where he now lives and writes. He started writing the To Die For books in 2010 with the first book, A view to Die For, published in 2012. He has a lot in common with his main character, but the similarity ends with murders. He has never found a dead body or solved a mystery. He and his wife are no longer raising their great-granddaughter, Warsaw's Jubilee Queen in 2019, as she has finished college and is now living in Sioux City, IA. Fred died as well as Richard's last Golden, Oliver. He and his wife still have their dachshund, Noodle and a new mixed breed, Hazel.
