One of the best stories in a long time.

For the last few years, the Jack Ryan stories have gotten somewhat route and less imaginative. This was a great fresh story that had well developed characters and maintain the excitement throughout. 6 stars.

Story
Verily, the story Biff has to tell is a miraculous one, filled with remarkable journeys, magic, healings, kung fu, corpse reanimations, demons, and hot babes. Even the considerable wiles and devotion of the Savior's pal may not be enough to divert Joshua from his tragic destiny. But there's no one who loves Josh more (except maybe "Maggie," Mary of Magdalan) and Biff isn't about to let his extraordinary pal suffer and ascend without a fight.

This book was a great lesson. I enjoyed the satirical interpretation of the events in the gospel and Christ young life. Biff was a wonderful and colorful character.

When I listen to books by Larry Correia I always have fun I appreciate the humor and campishness of them. The characters are fun and so is all the sarcasm which I enjoy, I say this non-sarcastically.

Knowledge is power. That would be the motto of Lander University, had it not been snatched up and used to death by others long before the school was founded. For while Lander offers a full range of courses to nearly all students, it also offers a small number of specialty classes to a very select few. Lander is home to the Hero Certification Program, a curriculum designed to develop students with superhuman capabilities, commonly known as Supers, into official Heroes.

Story
Six days ago, astronaut Mark Watney became one of the first people to walk on Mars. Now, he's sure he'll be the first person to die there. After a dust storm nearly kills him and forces his crew to evacuate while thinking him dead, Mark finds himself stranded and completely alone with no way to even signal Earth that he's alive - and even if he could get word out, his supplies would be gone long before a rescue could arrive. Chances are, though, he won't have time to starve to death. The damaged machinery, unforgiving environment, or plainold "human error" are much more likely to kill him first.

The narrator did such a wonderful job capturing the emotions and especially the sarcasm in the book I was astounded. There were times in I just found myself laughing. I throughly enjoyed this book. 5 stars all around.
