Story
Amy Carmichael stood on the deck of the steamer, waving good-bye once again to her old friend Robert Wilson. How could she have known she would never see him or the British Isles again? Amy was certain God had called her to India. Indeed! India would be home for the rest of her life. Amy's life was marked by a simple, determined obedience to God, regardless of circumstances. Her story and legacy are stunning reminders of the impact of one person who will fear God and nothing else.

Story
Amy Carmichael's (1867-1951) life was one of simple, determined obedience to God, regardless of the consequences. Her service in India is a vivid example of the impact one person who will fear God and nothing else can have. Driven by love, sustained by faith and determination, this young woman from Northern Ireland defied the cruel barriers of India's caste system.

Story
We often treat the word capacity as if it were a natural law of limitation. Unfortunately most of us are much more comfortable defining what we perceive as off limits rather than what's really possible. Could it be that many of us have failed to expand our potential because we have allowed what we perceive as capacity to define us? What if our limits are not really our limits?

This book is an amazing combination of the character, gift and leadership strength of John Maxwell's life. It was difficult for me to start with as the readers voice is so different from Maxwells. The content is so valuable to anyone that wants to grow and add value to others. It is a must read to grow through those limitations(caps) that we ourselves and others have tried to put on our capacity. Get it TODAY!!!

Story
The last command Jesus gave the church before he ascended to heaven was the Great Commission, the call for Christians to "make disciples of all the nations.
"But Christians have responded by making "Christians", not "disciples". This, according to brilliant scholar and renowned Christian thinker Dallas Willard, has been the church's Great Omission.

Critical for growth & challenge for my life

Willard gives an astounding overview of Matthew 5-7 in what I call "20 minutes that changed the world." He gives us simply an amazing understanding of the application of the context of our Lord's day as well a direct application to my life today. I highly recommend this life changing view of The Sermon on the Mount.
