I was on the edge of my seat this whole book. I can't believe Brandon Sanderson can do this well over and over again. These books need to be a movie or show. it's insane how great the dialogue is.

If you want to feel every emotion our human bodies can handle in an 8 hour listen then this book is for you. Every character, all of their feelings, all of their hardships so vividly cast on the listener. This book might have the most grasp out of any other book I've listened to. I highly recommend this to anyone, it is an emotional book and might not be for our in public places.

Story
There are still countless tales of the Scythedom to tell. Centuries passed between the Thunderhead cradling humanity and Scythe Goddard trying to turn it upside down. For years humans lived in a world without hunger, disease, or death with Scythes as the living instruments of population control. Neal Shusterman—along with collaborators David Yoon, Jarrod Shusterman, Sofía Lapuente, Michael H. Payne, Michelle Knowlden, and Joelle Shusterman—returns to the world throughout the timeline of the Arc of a Scythe series.

Reviewed: 11-15-22
The book was written amazingly, the performance was better than the other side books every single narrator performed perfectly. I have to ask why though there are a few cool stories about some characters from the previous books. There are some random characters and I just wonder if this opens a new world for more scythe books or if this was just written so there could be one more with random stories. either way I wouldn't skip listening or reading this solely on the performance and the interesting short stories of scythes.
