I’m an avid Halo fan and seeing an author put so much effort into an extended universe story is wonderful. The continuation of Inspector Lopez’s story lives up to and exceeds the previous one. Together with Scott Brick’s dedication to creating the voices for the novel makes it a very exciting read. Would recommend for Halo and science fiction fans alike.

A fantastic series

This was my first branch into science fiction and it was phenomenal. It’s a character driven plot with tons of development in both characters and scale of the story. This conclusion was everything I’d hoped it would be.
The performance was also incredible. Each character gets their own voice that ranges from the husk voice of a burly man to the light sound of a child

Each unique story, and author’s writing, adds to an already incredible universe. If you enjoy Halo then there’s no doubt you’ll enjoy these short stories. (There’s a point where one of the VAs says USNC instead of UNSC, my only qualm)
