Story
Here is the novel that will be forever considered a triumph of the imagination. Set on the desert planet Arrakis, Dune is the story of the boy Paul Atreides, who would become the mysterious man known as Maud'dib. He would avenge the traitorous plot against his noble family and would bring to fruition humankind's most ancient and unattainable dream.

great story, weird narration...
Reviewed: 03-29-24
hearing the story filled out was nice. I would have preferred the narrator had done the whole thing himself. There was no rhyme or reason for the other voices. they would just appear out of the blue and be gone just as quickly, maybe even in the middle of a chapter.

good story, a little wordy. ends on a cliffhanger...

as the title says, it's a good story but it has way too many details. There are lots of plot points that don't go anywhere. There are a lot of things were explained that didn't need to be and a lot of things that needed explanation, but were brushed over. I'd explain more, but I'll need you to sign a bloody nda first...

Definitely a good listen for anyone hungry for Star Wars content. But, did almost all of the stories involving any kind of romantic plot/sub-plot, need to be LGBT? the narrators did great with what they had.

I usually listen to Star Wars storiesSo this was suggested because of Ahsoka. it took a bit to get off the ground but it picked up and carried a good story through the end. It'll need a sequel. or two. I could picture it becoming a movie.

They can't all be Marc Thompson. The story was pretty good but the narrator wasn't. Every time I heard "The Nile" or "Markyon Row" it took me right out of it. An established series should have some pronunciation consistency.
