Story
Is everything connected? Can we sense what's happening to loved ones thousands of miles away? Why are we sometimes certain of a caller's identity the instant the phone rings? Do intuitive hunches contain information about future events? Is it possible to perceive without the use of the ordinary senses? Many people believe that such "psychic phenomena" are rare talents or divine gifts. Others don't believe they exist at all. But the latest scientific research shows that these phenomena are both real and widespread.

I highly recommend this book to parents. It covers so many subjects about things we face as parents and challenges that our teens may face. The suggestions are very clear, logical, emotionally intelligent and are easy practices to be put into place. I think the books in the Love Language series can potentially make us all better people.

As someone who has a hard time saying "no" to people, I found many helpful tips in this book that will allow me to take care of myself while being able to respectfully decline, when necessary. It's a book I'd listen to a second time, just to keep it fresh in my mind while practicing these strategies.
