Story
Sorrel Black’s family has been ruled by a book passed down from generation to generation. But now that it is in her possession, it has stopped working. For her alone, one critical piece of information is missing that will keep the curse, cast long ago as a punishment for her family’s rebellion, from being passed down to her own daughter someday. She hopes the book’s silence means the curse will end with her—even if it means dying alone. But then Eric Knight walks into her life and changes everything.

Absolutely Fabulous!
Reviewed: 09-19-23
First of all, JJ Makenzie has a gift for writing beautiful, engaging, emotional stories that captivate all the senses. The Book of Sorrel is filled with moments of tension that made my heart beat fast, moments that induced goosebumps, characters that made me laugh and feel a part of their story, and moments that were so tender that I cried. It was a beautiful story filled with adventure, love, and hope. I absolutely adored it. I can't wait for more from JJ Makenzie.
The acting in this book was out of this world amazing. Kim did such a wonderful job as Sorrell and made me feel like I was there with her throughout the story. Tim's voice is like a voice from the gods, so silky, smooth, deep and just made me want to wrap up in a blanket and cuddle with Eric (the character he voices).

Story
My name is Natalie Archer, and I confess to loving nothing more than scheduling my life. And by scheduling, I mean every aspect. So why not schedule my wedding? Do I have a groom? No. Am I dating anyone? Also no. But I have a plan. A good plan, even, to find a Mr. Right who fits all my criteria. The biggest one being he MUST not be famous. Been there, and never doing that again. I’m just about ready to put my plan into action when my famous ex reenters the picture—Josh Keller, the hottest stand-up comedian around, otherwise known as the thorn in my side and the love of my life.

My Introverted Heart Is All Giddy
Reviewed: 06-01-23
Jennifer Peel did a great job with connecting the feelings of being an introvert to the emotions of finding love, facing fears, and believing in yourself and those around you. Natalie's story is filled with scenes that will make you laugh out loud, sigh dreamily, and want to yell at a character or two. It is about hope and growth, and learning to trust. Such a beautiful second chance romance.
Stefanie Kay is fabulous as always. Her ability to bring characters to life is outstanding and there isn't a moment I want to stop listening when she narrates. She brought this book to life better than I could imagine. Definitely amazing!

Story
Every person has that one thing they’re known for, and it doesn’t matter what you do, that one thing—whether good or bad—follows you around like a bloodhound for the rest of your life. Tragically for me, it’s a story I wrote when I was 15, based on a real person, Reece Cavanaugh. And guess what? He grew up to be a pirate—okay, lawyer. Same thing. To make matters worse, the man is representing my ex-fiancé. But the more I get to know Reece—the real version, not the imaginary one who ravishes me—I can’t help but wish we could roll around in the sand together.

I absolutely love this book by Jennifer Peel. A Pumpkin and a Patch is heart-grabbing, riveting, and in short, amazing! Josie is hilarious, relatable, and has an amazing soul. Reece is handsome, caring, amd oh so swoonworthy. And Andi....oh that girl has my heart! I full-out laughed, cried, swooned, and giggled like a teenage girl with her first crush. It is just soooo good and listening to it just made it come to life in ways I can't explain. Jennifer captured my heart and soul again with this book.
Stefanie Kay is quickly becoming my favorite audiobook performer and she did not disappoint with this book. It was engaging, entertaining, and I felt each word to my core. She did a brilliant job.
You will love listening to this baby. I can guarantee it 💯.

Story
I promised myself ten years ago when I left Bella Port that I would never look back at the town that made me feel invisible—that is until the unthinkable happens and Aunt Mitzi, the person I love more than anyone or anything, suddenly passes away and leaves me everything. We are talking a beautiful beach house, more money than I know what to do with, and of course her beloved bookstore, Paige’s Turn, named after yours truly. Not only that, she thinks she’s left behind something else for me. Or is that someone else?

Paige's Turn is such a beautiful story and one of my favorites from Jennifer Peel. The message of loving one's self and believing in your own strength is one that stood valiantly for me. This book is fun, flirty, emotional, and so very real. The magic of love is so tangible...it is breathtaking. Jennifer has a way of making you feel like you are an active participant in the story and Stefanie Kay did a fabulous job bringing it to life. Her voice to this story was absolutely delightful, charming, and transported me to Bella Porte. Each character was brought to life in a way that just made me smile with its perfection.
I 💯 recommend this audio version of Paige's Turn. It was a fabulous listen.

Story
Eight years ago, the older and irresistible Kane Hudson rocked my world. He saw me as more than just a shy and awkward premed student. And somehow, he helped me to see myself too. He made me believe I was beautiful and that dreams were worth fighting for. He was a dream. Then, without warning, it all came to an end. He went off to England and I headed to medical school. My hope was to never see the man again. That was wishful thinking. Now we're both back in my hometown and, as luck would have it, we are both vying to become the next CEO of my family's blood plasma company.

First of all, I am a huge audiobook snob and am very particular about the books I listen to. All's Fair in Love and Blood not only captured my heart with its storyline so perfectly executed by Jennifer Peel, but the acting by Stefanie Kay is just AMAZING!
I fell in love with Scarlett from Chapter One. The depth of her feelings, her wit, and her unfailing dedication to find love is endearing, heartfelt, and melted my soul. And Kane....can you get me a tissue to wipe up the drool? So swoony! I am now comparing all my future boyfriends to him. This book is seriously amazing! It is one of my all-time favorites. And I promise YOU WILL FEEL ALL THE FEELS!

Gracie and Brooks story hit the spot with its wit, humor, emotional moments, and relatability. The narrator, Allyson Voller had a magical way of bringing the characters of Facial Recognition to life. I felt like I was a part of Pecan Orchard while listening to this book. I laughed so hard, especially as Gracie's hilarious inner dialougue and witty comebacks were vocalized. I recommend listening to this one! You won't want to stop. It is that good!

I, Emma Loveless, have a destiny. It's not the greatest of destinies, but when you have a name like Loveless, what can you do? I'm cursed to always be the friend, never the girlfriend. Unless you count my love affair with Duncan Hines, Dr. Pepper, and the ever-lovable Pillsbury Doughboy. It doesn't help that I have a meddling, albeit wonderful, mother who can't help playing matchmaker. Thanks to her, I can say I've been on a date with a felon. Now she swears she's found the one for me, her new optometrist, Dr. Sawyer King.
