the narrators voice and annunciation is great, but the extension at the end of every sentence gets a little wearisome

I enjoyed that the characters were all well developed. I also enjoy hearing Taylor Divine's thoughts during a conversation. The reader doesn't excellent job of differentiating between what is spoken and what he is thinking.

Great writing style
Reviewed: 01-06-23
I enjoyed this book quite a bit and light the writer style. I did, however, find that there were a few too many characters that were mildly introduced. that leaves the reader having to remember who they are, and looking to see if they show up in the story again. other than that, nice stuff!

Story
As a highly respected pollster for corporate and Republican clients and a frequent television talk show guest, Kellyanne Conway had already established herself as one of the brightest lights on the national political scene when Donald Trump asked her to run his presidential campaign. She agreed, delivering him to the White House, becoming the first woman in American history to manage a winning presidential campaign. Who she is, how she did it, and who tried to stop her is a fascinating story of personal triumph and political intrigue that has never been told…until now.

very interesting story
Reviewed: 03-26-22
the first three quarters of this book are outstanding, including the reading performance - which is outstanding all the way through. Unfortunately, for me, there were too many gaps created as the story comes to its close. Characters act in ways that are out of "character", and loose ends are left without the ability to imagine their closure.

This story had the makings to be great. I believe, in my humble opinion, that it missed the mark because the passion necessary to complete everything Kyle does is not portrayed in the book. Dick does a fabulous job of reading:however, his voice does not sound like that of a 31 year old.

On The Power of Vulnerability, Dr. Brown offers an invitation and a promise - that when we dare to drop the armor that protects us from feeling vulnerable, we open ourselves to the experiences that bring purpose and meaning to our lives. Here she dispels the cultural myth that vulnerability is weakness and reveals that it is, in truth, our most accurate measure of courage.

A Wonderful Read!!

Elizabeth is an enchanting writer, taking her readers through the nuances of her mind. What I absolutely adored about this book is that she had a conversation with me the entire time. Obviously she didn't hear my side of the conversation, but it happened nonetheless. She elevated my confidence through her stories, and her total abandon of self consciousness. Thank you, Elizabeth.
