This book was great for me in the very season of life that I am in. I wish I had came across it as a child or someone explained ADHD to me like this as a child. I found words for my experience and tools to combat negative symptoms of ADHD and ways to use ADHD to my advantage.

Good Nuggets
Reviewed: 03-15-23
I don’t regret listening. There were some great nuggets in there. I got tired of hearing about the author’s weight insecurities because that’s not what the book is about, but maybe she thought it was relatable? Anyway, the book has some good points and I may go back to some chapters, especially the prayers and write notes to meditate on.

Story
We oftentimes look towards the outside world to find the roots of our problems. However, most of the times, we should be looking inwards. Our mind and our emotions determine our state of being in the present moment. If those aspects are left unchecked, we can get easily overwhelmed and are left feeling unfulfilled every single day.

Practical Information
Reviewed: 01-17-23
I appreciated this book for what it was. Practical information about how we think, and how to control your feelings in a healthier way. I didn’t care for the narration because it was a bit robotic, but I was still able to focus and get information I needed from it. My favorite chapter was the one about trust. Helpful information for people trying to fix or maintain interpersonal relationships. I will probably listen to this book again in the future to brush up and remind myself.

Boundaries are Biblical

I appreciated this book as it helped me to see that I grew up without boundaries and watched the lives of many people who didn’t have boundaries. The book has many practical tips of how to make and keep boundaries. There were a lot of anecdotal stories as well.

I like the narrator, the voice and pace is not to far off from how the author actually speaks. I used this book to sleep to and to add logs to my spiritual fire so-to-speak. The approach is straightforward and informative, and I found myself encouraged to take the call to pray all kinds of prayer more seriously.

Story
Jesus gave the commission to cast out demons to the entire Church in Mark 16:17. When God calls us into ministry, He equips us. The gifts of the Holy Spirit, as presented in 1 Corinthians 12, represent God's empowerment to believers to accomplish this task. We must rely on the Holy Spirit for the ministry of deliverance and nothing else, not our own understanding, or the voice of demons, but only the voice of the Holy Spirit to guide us in deliverance and spiritual warfare.

I am grateful to have listened to this audio message. The information contained in it, though simple to understand, is profoundly valuable when applied to one’s spiritual life. There are so many convoluted books on deliverance ministry and the discerning of spirits, but Frank Hammond takes the “hocus-pocus” out of it and re-focuses our eyes to Jesus.

Great Information, Poor Pronunciation
Reviewed: 04-14-21
I really enjoy the narrator’s voice and reading pace. It was very disappointing that she mispronounced the word PROPHESY for the entire book. It’s fine if she never heard of the words prophecy and prophesy but I’m surprised that no one edited or listened to this prior to it being published. Also, as a voice performer I’d think that you’d look up words and proper pronunciation and have someone check your work for accuracy. However, the content is so needed I ignored the ignorance.
The book itself by Jennifer LeClaire is great. Much needed information for anyone wondering about the spiritual realm and if we can see/enter into it or interact with it and how. I appreciate that this was not a book filled with cool stories only, leaving the reader assuming that this is only for people with elite faith. I was able to receive confirmation of some of the experiences I’ve had and I am grateful that I feel more confident to take what I see more seriously. I feel better spiritually equipped after listening to this book and may even put myself through it again.
