New Style/Not horror
Reviewed: 11-29-23
It seems that Stephen King is loving the Holly Gibney character and detective stories in general lately. I don't mind as he writes well and the still have a little element of evil/horror. I would definitely recommend this book to readers who love the Mr. Mercedes books. I also want to say that this has kept my interest in reading King novels even more. His writing is always on point. In general, it was a good story. 👍

Great new addition to the Stephen King collection. I love the Shining reference in the story. The story has a great good vs evil contrast that reader's can debate. As always, well composed.

The story was disappointing for a Stephen King book. It had it's moments, but not enough to make it as good as I expect from the master of horror/sci-fi books. Would not listen again.

I love the continued story by Stephen King. He never let's you down. I wasn't aware at first it had undertones of the Dark Tower story at first. Then it became more apparent. I just wish he added more story and more references to the Dark Tower. Overall it was worth listening to.
