Story
Written to help listeners better understand Jesus's life, death, and ultimate mission, this new book by well-known preacher John MacArthur looks at an important - yet often misunderstood - section of the Bible: Isaiah 53. Often hailed as one of the greatest chapters in the Bible, this passage foretells the crucifixion of Jesus, a critical event in God's ultimate plan for salvation. Explaining the prophetic words of Isaiah 53 verse by verse, MacArthur highlights important connections to the history of Israel and to the New Testament.

These words have profoundly impacted me! Bringing Isaiah and so much of the Old Testament to my attention in a way I’ve not comprehended until now and bringing to exquisite clarity how the Lord revealed to the Ephesus-bound travelers all that scripture had to say about Messiah!!! My heart burns also!!

Story
This Puritan classic, first published in the late 17th century, sets forth the biblical teaching of God and his interaction in our lives. No detail is too small or insignificant for God; he is there, working out "all things for good". And in that promise, every believer can take comfort that God truly has a purpose for every single person and will unfold his plan, which includes every detail in our daily lives.

Voice quality, flow of the history of the recent infiltration of the Church. Cleared up for me the whole Keller involvement and i am looking forward to reading more Spurgeon now that I know he was contending with a similar world situation as us.
