Story
“Break Through the Language Barrier, Expand Your Understanding” The Amplified Bible is a Literal Equivalent translation that, by using synonyms and definitions, both explains and expands the meaning of words in the text. This unique system of translation allows the reader to more completely and clearly grasp the meaning as it was understood in the original Hebrew and Greek languages. For example, the Greek word pisteuo, which the vast majority of versions render as “believe.” That simple translation, however, hardly does justice to the many meanings contained in the Greek pisteuo: “to adhere to, cleave to; to trust to have faith in; to rely on, to depend on.”

Back in college, Jane Lewis would have given anything to be like homecoming queen Connie Bryan. Instead she was just Plain Jane - overweight, frumpy, and painfully shy. That was then. Today, a lovely and confident Dr. Jane Lewis has a thriving psychotherapy practice, her own radio talk show, a beautiful old Louisiana mansion, and her affectionate, nutty dog, Olive, to keep her company. The only thing missing is someone to share her life.

Have read every one of her books and this one is maybe the best of the lot. Lots of mystery and intrigue. The introduction cleared up things I had wondered about. Thanks for placing it in the time frame. Made it much easier to know where and when the story took place. You all did a great job of finishing her book. I believe she would have been pleased
