Story
Five years ago, the US Space Force became a reality. And while those writing the checks took things very seriously, the other military branches did not. As a result, Space Force was populated by undesirables. My name is Captain Ethan Stone, a decorated member of SEAL Team Six turned Space Force "recruit". Flash forward five years and between tenses. President West is in office. Power has shifted. And Space Force is defunded. With just a handful of us still living on base, we find ourselves being evicted. But before all of us can leave, aliens invade.

Story
Steve is hell's super, its handyman. Being Mr. Fixit to the underworld keeps him and his assistant, Orson Welles (yes, that Orson Welles), pretty busy, since things go on the blink all the time down there. No malfunction has ever created so much inconvenience, though, as the malfunction of hell's escalator, which leads from the pearly gates to the depths of Hades. What's worse: The breakdown appears to be sabotage.

What did you love best about Hell's Super?
I like the mix of fiction and information about the famous characters. I think the author needs to write an appendix so that the younger people will know who these people are!
Who was your favorite character and why?
I'd have to say my favorite character is "Boo" the bat out of Hell. It's a bad bat turned good story!
Which character – as performed by Michael Gilboe – was your favorite?
He does a very credible Beelzebub. Have you checked to see if you didn't hire the genuine article?
If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
In Hell you never know who you will meet!
Any additional comments?
The vocal sound effects are as fun as hearing the character's voices! Oh and I got this book for free so I could review it and other small lawyer type stuff. See my description if you like lawyer type stuff. :D

Story
The Barner family relocates to Cold Hollow, a quaint town nestled in a Vermont mountain range. They find it to be quite charming, and the inhabitants endearing, except for a few residents. Odd laws are enforced, confrontations begin, and insanity reigns as a madman sits upon his imaginary throne, trying to keep the threads of his dream from unraveling. Will Sophia and Angus Barner be able to protect their children from the malevolence that lurks within the small township?

Would you consider the audio edition of Cold Hollow to be better than the print version?
I didn't read the print version but shouldn't they be the same thing?
If you’ve listened to books by Emilie J. Howard before, how does this one compare?
Never read one by Emilie J. Howard before but I might give the author another go.
What does J. Scott Bennett bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
He's a good reader but I have voices in my head that I can assign to characters so it's like making a meal, great to have it cooked for me but I can manage fine in the kitchen.
Who was the most memorable character of Cold Hollow and why?
I liked "Artie" because as a vision impaired person I could relate to him.
Any additional comments?
I have some but I'd have to put **SPOILER ALERT ** in front of the comments.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
Well yes I would if I had friends who read or use audio books. Sadly I have no such friends (unless you count the maybe friends on the websites I interact with)
What other book might you compare SIMPOC to and why?
This is a unique twist on the whole apocalyptic epoch. If all humanity dies (or most of it) will the computers take over, will they do what is necessary to survive and will they all be on the same side or will there be good and evil or at least different perceptions of right and wrong?
What about Zachary Johnson’s performance did you like?
I liked that they used a bit of sound effect to make it seem like the computers are all saying things at once. I am a bedtime listener to books rather than having them play in the background during my daily activities (although some tempt me more than others) and so I enjoy the pace and cadence of Mr. Johnson's performance. (Not to say he puts me to sleep by any means!)
If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
When the humans go the way of the dinosaurs the computers reign begins but will the human frailties of the past become SIMPOC's downfall?
Any additional comments?
Can't wait to hear the next installment!
