Jesus, I’ve read books with miscommunication but this Duet took the lead in all of them, i don’t understand how anyone could say they live someone as much as these two do and NOT TALK TO EACH OTHER.
I really want to believe that a woman that is a mature and 36 would do better than this character did. Really. Overall its a frustrating experience. But the character development is ok, the story is interesting and the spice is what i feel took it into an enjoyable experience.
Joe Arden always makes it better. So just for him i powered through.

Love the story. Love the Author, love the narrators, the only thing that would have made this book everything would have been if it was duet narration. Still worth the listen but i am definitely a book snob and now i find it hard to listen to dual books. Other than that i lived for this. Finished it in a day.

When i started this story, it had lots of promise, i thought ok slow burn, but honestly i think the author is very good at Edging readers into a whole lot of Nothing. It has promise, but falls short. Twice. I hoped this book was less descriptive and gave more action. Nope. Its all a freaking tease. I am as frustrated as the poor characters in the book trying to find release. Jesus. The fact that i finished it showed the respect i held for the Narration. They did an awesome job. If you take 2 things from this review please let it be:
TikTok is not always right to over hype a book.
This Book is Duet narration (i wish more people would let readers know in reviews as it is very helpful)
Don’t tease your readers for 32 chapters of Nothing. Jesus.

Listen, i Love Rina Kent! Her stories and plot lines are a thing of beauty, i just cant for the life of me get into Females trying to do Male dialogue when they hire Male Narrators. Just make it a conversational duet. The voice of Glyndon doing him as a voice? Sounded like a constipated valley sex operator. Very off putting.
All her Royal Elite series are amazing! Why???? Why?? Did you have to ruin this audiobook? I was looking forward to this.
Rant over.
We like guys doing guy voices and chicks doing chick voices. Ok now its over!
