Story
I’m not attracted to men.. Or so I thought before I slammed into Nikolai Sokolov.. A mafia heir, a notorious bastard, and a violent monster.. An ill-fated meeting puts me in his path. And just like that, he has his sights set on me. A quiet artist, a golden boy, and his enemy’s twin brother. He doesn’t seem to care that the odds are stacked against us. In fact, he sets out to break my steel-like control and blur my limits. I thought my biggest worry was being noticed by Nikolai. I’m learning the hard way that being wanted by this beautiful nightmare is much worse.

Perfection!
Reviewed: 01-23-24
Words cannot express how much I LIVED for this audio. I was giggling and swooning and just overall lost into the world that Kent has created and these narrators brought to life. They were sheer perfection for this audio. Now for the full story review.
For some reason, I knew Kent was going to slay this story regardless of it being her first MM romance. The intensity. The passion. Just absolutely everything about this story will grip your soul. I had been intrigued by Niko for some time and seeing him in his full glory was absolute perfection. Twisted on the surface but so much more underneath. I think that is one thing that Kent is amazing at. The underlying stories she gives these characters are intense to say the least. While Bran is the more cool, calm and collected of the two. Or so we thought. These two bring out something in each other that is for the ages! Hands down an amazing story and great addition to this world!

My favorite from the whole series!

I think out of all the Love in Isolation stories, The Joy of Us is hands down my favorite. There is just something about the way this story plays out that makes my heart happy and sing! I mean, the way that Fallon and Levi are initially introduced to each other had me laughing so hard. Having Arndt and Snow give life to Fallon and Levi was absolute perfection. I loved how these two just melted into the characters that they portray.
This whole story to me was about how to find that spirit within your soul not just with Christmas but life in general. My heart hurt so much for the reasons as to why Fallon didn’t celebrate the holidays anymore but Levi made her see the beauty in it. I have always loved books from Kennedy Fox, and Hunter and Travis are still my top faves but Levi has a very special place in my heart for his giving soul and so much more. This story is full of the feels, the laughs and so much more. Great read for the holidays!

Story
Falling for Finn isn’t part of my plan. He’s older, moody, and complains about everything I do. His family flies me three thousand miles out to their orchard farm in Vermont to do a painting for their centennial celebration. It’s an opportunity of a lifetime to do a piece for the Bennetts, but I don’t expect my clients’ grandson to rope me into a fake dating scheme. When his ex-girlfriend shows up expecting to sleep in the cottage I’m currently in, I volunteer to stay with Finn to keep up appearances that we’re together.

Perfect fake girlfriend story!

I have been dying to get my hands on this story because Oakley was introduced to us. Add Finn to the mix and all bets are off. Both Arndt and Snow give such life to these characters that I felt like I was watching it all play out. I loved this wit and banter between these two as she has such a sunny disposition compared to Finn’s broody grumpiness. Add the fact that Oakley is thrown into the fire after Finn decided to use her as his fake girlfriend. There are some epic moments with amazing spice that will keep you on your toes from start to finish. I adored this book!

Ending the series with a bang!
Reviewed: 11-10-22
Can I just say that there is just something about this one that was absolute perfection to finish off the second generation of Bishops? My heart sang as I listened this book. Kaitlyn and Payton were everything and more together. Aside from being best friends, their connection is intense and it is the classic they care for one another more than just friends but are scared to say something. But when the baby making proposal is brought up, all bets are off. These two are pure fire. Their wit and banter made me laugh at times. I loved how Payton kept up Kaitlyn’s spirits too. Then you have the antics of the whole Bishop clan which adds so much depth to the story. The narrators give such life to these books and while they have narrated the whole series, I could not imagine anyone but Langola and Thom breathing life into this story by way of audio.
Not gonna lie, I bawled at the end of this book. When you get to it, you will know but mine is for more than one reason. But I won’t say why due to it being a big spoiler. Kennedy Fox delivers on a sizzling swoon worthy story yet again and I am dying to get my hands on the third generation though, in some ways, it won’t be the same. Seeing this family grow has been something special!

Gaaaaah I adore Kane!
Reviewed: 08-06-22
After getting Knox’s story, I have been dying to get my hands on Kane’s and I was not disappointed. Ivy is a spitfire under that reserved persona and Langola brought her to life in so many ways! Oh does she give Kane a run for his money. I loved their banter and their connection when they just talked to each other. I adored how Langola and Thom work so well together while narrating. They just fit together. Ivy and her crush then Kane worried what others would think of the age gap made things more intense between these two and made for a very sizzling moment. There is a little drama which makes for some awkward moments and adds to the depth of the story but I can honestly say I devoured it in one sitting. I even ignored my coffee for this one and that says a lot! I love love love this series and I cannot wait to get Kaitlyn’s story but I am not ready for this series to end!

Story
Early morning feedings, barn cleanup, and chasing goats are Knox Bishop’s everyday routine. That changes when a bachelor auction brings him face-to-face with the world’s most forbidden fruit—his twin brother’s crush. Hadleigh has known the Bishop twins all her life and they’ve never crossed the lines. That is until she fools around with Knox and learns he has a piercing south of the border. A piercing she very much enjoys licking. Admitting what she feels wouldn’t be so difficult if Kane Bishop hadn’t just confessed his feelings for her, too.

Sizzle and spark!

Can I just say, holy spicy? This one has to be one of the most emotionally and sexy books that this duo has given us and hearing how it all plays out adds so much depth to the story. My mind was reeling the whole time with everything that was getting thrown at Hadleigh from these two Bishop twins! Knox and Kane are a force to be reckoned with but how is a girl to choose? The bad boy twin or the sweet one? My heart ached for Hadleigh as she tried to figure out her own emotions and everything that entailed. Seeing both Knox and Kane figure things out for themselves as well is just as raw and intense. There are some interesting moments that will have you swooning and fanning yourself. How will all this play out? Devour this audio in one sitting like I did and find out!

Story
Love finds you when you least expect it. I was only looking for a place to crash after having my heart ripped out. Instead I found someone who turned my world upside down. A girl like Georgia was looking for happily ever after, and so far, my life had been anything but a fairy tale. I can walk into a burning building without thinking twice, but the spark I feel with her scares the hell out of me. I can’t keep watching her look for someone else—not when I’m falling for her. When the smoke clears, it’s Georgia by my side. Life might not be perfect—but our love could be.

Oh my stars! I have enjoyed this whole series but this one, wow! I think it is my favorite out of the three! And I am living for the fact that Ash has male narrators for every book. I loooove Tommy Sage as Chase. The depth, the swoon, just everything! I adored Chase and seeing his character develop over time and how it all played out in his own story! I always felt there was this underlying current between him and Georgia and oh did it explode! There is something about the connection that these two have as they start out as just friends. Their wit and banter was on point and that underlying current? SPARKING! With everything thrown at them, I love how they hold each other up.
With the twists and turns that occur in this book, it keeps you on your toes and leaves you wanting more. Your heart hurts, you want to cry. And you feel those emotions bleed through the audio. You feel their joy and just smile. This is one of those books that will resonate with your soul and I lived for it. Ash has a beautiful way of giving a story that will have you swooning and so emotional that you are completely lost in the words. This book is hands down one of my faves this year!

So raw!

Oh my stars. Nikki Ash once again weaves such a stunning tale. This time it is a friends to lovers one with that surprise pregnancy. But what she does with this one is so emotional and so raw that you cannot help but fall in love with Lexi and Alec. With the narration, you feel the depth of this story just that much more. I found myself lost in the audio. These two just make sense. Their push and pull even as much as they try to deny it to everything else. My heart ached as things progressed. Especially for everything Lexi is going through. But there is just magic between them. It is raw and emotional but the way he holds her up is just everything!
One thing Ash is the master of is building up these emotions while keeping the concept of the surprise pregnancy fresh and unique. I felt what the characters felt and with hearing it, I found that it was just as amazing as reading it. I wanted to just make them happy and nothing would hurt them. Ash took something and created something magical and very real with this story and so far, this series as a whole. I am dying to get my hands on the next one but Alec has really won my heart!

Story
Once upon a time, a boy and a girl met and fell in love…that’s the way my love story began, but unlike the fairy tale, it ended with me standing in the cemetery, watching my prince get lowered into the ground, along with all our dreams. Now he’s gone and I’m lost. Until an impromptu trip to my family’s beach house has me spending time with Ryan. With his help, I’m learning to live again and make plans for the future. The only problem is, we both know they can’t include him. So, when our time is up, we do the only thing we can do - go our separate ways.

OHHHH the angst and heartbreak in this story!!! I adore Ash’s words and this one is pure perfection as there is such a huge gambit of emotions that you are run through between Micaela and Ryan. Having hearing it as well, my mind is still blown away with this story and the concept. With everything that happened to each of them that led them to that fateful week at the beach house, builds up everything to how the whole story plays out in the long run. My heart hurt with everything each of them felt and went through. I was angry at Micaela, I was hurt for Ryan, I wanted everything to be better. I felt it all. I found I was wrapped up in this world that Ash has created and left me wanting!
Overall, I honestly devoured this book in audio when I wasn’t being side tracked by life. I just could not turn it off at all. It had all the feels, all the passion and heart stopping moments that will have your jaw drop. The fluidity and the build was spot on as I could not get enough and now I am dying to get more in this series!

Love me some age gap!
Reviewed: 04-12-22
This story alone was intense and I am living the life that Arndt and Thom gave this story. There are so many levels of complexity that are within this one and I lived for it hands down. I had been intrigued with Easton since we met him in the previous book being Tristan’s brother. I was not disappointed. This story is such a slow sizzling burn between him and Tatum that you legit want to combust with how these two play off of each other. Age is not a factor in this reverse age gap either regardless of how much Tatum is concerned about it. The wit and banter between these two. Those passionate moments that are so endearing and heartfelt just warms your soul. With the psycho ex in play with this one, it adds more depth to the story.
