Ok the only reason I was disappointed was I was hoping for a little more info on an existing storyline that has been left hanging for a little too long in my opinion. That being said, the performance by Thom Bowers is spot on as usual. Love to hear that man read. The story itself was well written as per usual. I did feel the final confrontation was a little rushed and a bit anticlimactic. All in all, its a good read and as always looking forward to more. Would recommend.

Never underestimate Shane Ryan. Just when you think he's at the end, he comes back even stronger. Love these books.

I love these. First if you are a fan of the old tv shows like The Twilight Zone, The Outer Limits or my personal favorite Tales from the Darkside, you will certainly enjoy these stories. Thom Bowers always delivers a spellbinding performance. I think I could listen to him read the phone book.

Ian Fortey, Ron Ripley are masters of storytelling. This installment of Shadow King series is in my opinion the best yet. Bringing the story full circle but not quite to a full conclusion. Tying up loose ends but still leaving an opening for more story to be told. The imagination and originality with these authors is what keeps me coming back. The narrator performance is awesome as usual. Totally recommend theses authors.

First as always, my praises to Thom Bowers on his performance. Now onto the story. Oh Shane, the man can't get a break. After surviving the Iron Tournament, Shane is now on the hunt for Lazerus. As, usual for our favorite marine this won't be an easy task. After ending up in Canada, Shane finds an entire town where all the people including town officials have been taken over and possessed by the dead. It seems as Lazerus has a grander plan that Shane had first considered. Will Shanee come out victorious once again or will Lazerus succeed in his dark indevers. This book as usual keeps you hanging in there. The imaginative storytelling and original plots are what makes these authors really stand out in their field. Can't wait for the next installment.

First let me say I am from Tennessee and am well acquainted with the Bell Witch legend, so that's the story I was expecting basically. That being said I was confused and disappointed at the first and realized that wasn't this story. I even stopped listening for a while. However, I came back to it with an open mind and found I enjoyed the direction the author was going. Once I let go of what story I was familiar with I got emersed into this new story. I feel many influences coming through. Yes, there is a bit of the Bell Witch legend but also a bit from the Parron haunting the first conjuring was based on. Despite that this story has enough original ideas to make it a great listen. The characters are well written with their own personalities distinctive. Also, the character arcs and growth through the story is very well done. The narrator certainly did a wonderful job bringing the characters to life and making each very distinctive. I would absolutely recommend this series.

So, I did struggle in the beginning to stay interested. However, as the story goes along it pulls you in and gets you wanting to know more and where it's taking you. The characters are well written and developed. The story is unique and original. Would most defiantly recommend.

First just let me say this really wasn't my cup of tea. I really just couldn't get into the story. That being said, the narrator's performance was very well done. The characters are well written, and their individual personalities come across wonderfully. The story was well put together and well written. I liked the original plotline idea. Overall, even if it wasn't really my thing, I would recommend it as a read. It was entertaining and I don't regret giving it a listen.

Once again, a great delivery from Ron Ripley and Ian Fortey. Shane can't seem to stay out of trouble with ghosts. This time though has he met his match? I loved this direction for Shane. Its defiantly a new twist and imaginative storyline. Very entertaining and well written as usual. Can't wait for the next installment.
