Publisher's summary

The Bell Witch is real. And her terrifying game has begun....

In Black River, Tennessee, there is a legend hiding in the shadowy trees. The Bell Witch, a vile, vindictive spirit, is said to haunt the dark woods. Driven by rage, she stalks the descendants of four ancient families - cursed bloodlines, doomed to play out her sadistic game for eternity.

Until four young survivors take a stand, and vow to end the witch’s curse once and for all. Their journey will pit them against death, madness, and demonic forces. But if they fail, the witch’s curse will claim a new generation of souls....

This volume contains books one through three of the bone-chilling Bell Witch series:

The Harvest (book one): When a member of each family stumbles upon the witch’s cursed music box, they are forced to journey into the dark and twisted woods in search of the keys to their salvation.

Sacrificial Grounds (book two): A bloody confrontation with the witch’s cult forces the group to flee into her decrepit old house, where they must each confront their darkest fears....

The Witch Cave (book three): Vowing to destroy the Bell Witch once and for all, the four survivors venture into a network of flooded tunnels, where demonic spirits torment them with nightmares of the past. And the only way out requires one of them to make the ultimate sacrifice....

I Love Bellsheba!

Good stories and great narration. My favorite protagonist, by far, is the diminutive powerhouse - Bellsheba. If you listen to this you’ll see why. Oh and her dog Buck is awesome too. All characters are essential and learn to work together in the story, which is also what I liked.

Don't miss the bell witch series! A+

What can I say? I'm in love with this series.

I'm a Supernatural Horror fanatic. Monsters, ghosts, phantoms, interdementional demons,.. you name it. I love it.

I picked up this series on a whim. read a couple reviews and saw the omnibus. Was it a good value? 1000% in retrospect i would have been absolutely satisfied with buying all 6 books with credits. hands down.

Sarah Clancy brings the characters to life. Big time. Personalities, history, tendancies, likes dislikes, moods.. she paints the pictures. This is a series where you really get attached to the characters, which could mean attached to loving them, or hating them. but attached. Including, and especially, Buck. "The goodest boy of all good boys."

John Pirhalla is masterful in his delivery. Absolutely does great with various male and female voices, and quite a lot of them. Has a great range without having to make any sound just odd because he "ran out of voices". As a matter of fact he even nails a pretty tough accent in book 6. I rewound more than a few times just to hear Pirhalla's delivery on some random line. just stuff that made me smile. he's clearly a vocal artist.

The writing is done well, Friends in college called me "the grammar hammer" and it sticks with me to this day. I didnt catch a lot of odd words thrown in, try hard thesaurus stuff out of place, repeated phrases. Nothing odd really popped out at me as far as writing.

As far as content. Sarah paints a nice dark overall mood across, with plenty of humor and oddball things thrown in without getting ridiculous, i mean these are younger people/teenagers so they're bound to be silly at times, and she blends it in well. Laugh out loud a few times even. The supernatural aspects are eerie, spooke, scary, gross, haunting, startling, creative, big, small, horrific. i mean she checks off a lot of boxes in here. Each of the 6 books builds upon the previous, and with always something new. a new take on the adventure with new challenges and new events. The leviathan was great as it changes pace on the type of location much of it takes place in. none of the books felt like there was too much time taken in between where it felt disjointed, or felt forced like she had to put something out. just a great written plot and story.

I really can't say enough, in love with these books. I think the characters really shine. She paints them so well that you can empathize with all of the main characters and step into their shoes.

pick up the omnibus for a credit, it's a steal and you won't be sorry.

*Im leaving this review on each installment because im not big on talking about plot points in my review, im not giving a synopsis. and this review absolutely fits for each book, sarah clancy is masterful and john pirhalla delivers. in. each. one. A+

abrupt endings

Seems a little too easy too complete tasks by the group after a lot of hardship. But all in all a good story. Love the banter within the group.

Blair Witch meets the Hunger Games

I really enjoyed these books. The narrator makes them easy to listen to by changing his voice for each character. It's graphic horror with some comedy thrown in. I had to buy the rest of the books to listen to. Very creative.
