Discover a beautiful friendship between Billy Graham and his friend and pastor, Don Wilton. This book looks behind the scenes of Graham's life, which continues to inspire us in our own spiritual journeys. Most Saturdays for 15 years, Don drove the long road to meet with Billy at his home in Montreat, North Carolina. There the two friends spent hours talking about family, politics, sports, and their spiritual lives.

Story
Dave Ramsey shares Biblical wisdom on the legacy we build with our wealth. What does the Bible really say about money? About wealth? How much does God expect you to give to others? How does wealth affect your friendships, marriage, and children? How much is "enough"? There’s a lot of bad information in our culture today about wealth - and the wealthy. Worse, there’s a growing backlash in America against our most successful neighbors, but why?

Really Glad I Read (Listened to) This Book
Reviewed: 11-17-20
When I read reviews, I like to observe the total percentage of 4 and 5 star reviews, and I like to read some or all 1 and 2 star reviews
A few of the negative comments were thoughtful and reasoned, but now that I’ve completed the book, I can honestly say those reviews are, in my opinion, flawed. It also appears that some of the (few) negative reviews may have been written by people who did not finish the book.
Bottom line, I liked the book a lot...it accurately states, I believe, valid Biblical principles concerning money and wealth. One cannot go wrong following Biblical teaching on any subject.
I’m grateful for all the wonderful work Dave Ramsey has done and continues to do on this subject.

Story
For six years Jim and Jamie Dutcher lived intimately with a pack of wolves, gaining their trust as no one has before. In this book the Dutchers reflect on the virtues they observed in wolf society and behavior. Each chapter exemplifies a principle, such as kindness, teamwork, playfulness, respect, curiosity, and compassion. Their heartfelt stories combine into a thought-provoking meditation on the values shared between the human and the animal world.

I Stopped with 1:36:00 Before The End
Reviewed: 11-10-18
I wish I’d stopped at 1:37 or so before the end. I won’t say why specifically, but maybe you can guess. Up until something happened to one of the characters that I really liked, I thoroughly enjoyed the book, which was written from the perspectives of both the boy, Peter, and his fox, Pax.
Maybe I need to stick to stories about unicorns, cotton candy clouds, angels, and wise men. There were no wise men in this book...perhaps there was a wise woman though.

Story
A Prophet with Honor is the biography Billy Graham himself invited and appreciated for its sympathetic but frank approach. Carefully documented, eminently fair, and gracefully written, it raises and answers key questions about Graham's character, contributions, and influence on the world religious scene. In this engaging and comprehensive book, William Martin gives readers a better understanding of the most successful evangelist in modern history, and the movement he led for over fifty years.

Wonderful Life, Wonderful Biography
Reviewed: 05-17-18
I've read some great biographies, but the updated edition of The Billy Graham Story, for me, is one of the best. Or probably the best. Of course, Mr. Graham's life was amazing and inspiring. The author's (William C. Martin) research and writing was incredibly thorough and wonderful. The narration by Maurice England made listening to this book better, at least for me, than reading it. I was sorry when the book ended. I'll listen again - it was that good.

In these audio volumes, you'll hear Zig onstage in front of a live audience as well as offstage in several intimate studio recordings. You'll hear Zig at his most energetic in the very early days of his career, and you'll hear him at his most reflective and thoughtful in recordings just a few years before his passing. But regardless of when and where Zig delivered his message, one thing remained constant: The unforgettable and timeless truths that Zig spoke changed the lives of millions of people.

Any additional comments?
There is only one Zig Ziglar. It had been roughly 25 years since I'd listened to his tapes, and when I saw this book on Audible, it dawned on me how much I missed hearing his voice and his stories and teachings. I purchased it immediately and began listening. I understand one reviewer's somewhat negative comments about the editing of this book, but the repetition and back and forth didn't bother me. I'm glad I found this title, and I won't wait another 25 years to listen again to Zig Ziglar. Like bathing, I promise to listen regularly and often from now on. One quick aside...several years ago, a well-known psychologist told a friend that just listening to Ziglar was treatment for depression and other emotional and mental disorders. That makes sense to me. Zig is a treasure. I repeat...there is only one Zig Ziglar.

Story
When siblings Dan and Hayley Daley inherit their late grandmother's derelict Victorian farmhouse, it seems like a dream come true. All they have to do is fix the place up and sell it for a tidy profit! Except - as anyone who has renovated an old house knows - things are never that easy. The walls are rapidly crumbling around them, the architect is a certified lunatic, the budget is spiraling...and then there's the disturbingly intelligent cow to worry about.
