Story
Tess Strebel can’t recognize her own face. She can’t recognize her home. Her bedroom is unfamiliar. And she can’t remember the handsome stranger lying next to her in bed. A stranger who claims he’s her husband. Tess reads a letter in her own handwriting, composed during a rare lucid day, explaining her life as it now exists: she was in a terrible car accident one year ago. Every morning, she wakes up unable to remember most of the last decade. Including her own wedding.

It is a good listen but after a while I started feeling bored. I think there was a lot of fluff just to make the book longer. It had a good twist and decent ending.

Story
Hardcore Self Help: F**k Depression is the follow-up to the best-selling F**K Anxiety. In this book I take the information, tips, and insights that I have gained as a psychologist and translate them into language that doesn't suck. This is the self-help book for people who don't usually like self-help books. In Hardcore Self Help: F**K Depression, I talk to you like a friend. That means I speak directly to you, without psychobabble. Instead I tell you why your brain is such a troll.

Not great

Sooo if you have ever had true depression this book is not for you. If you want someone to tell you about depression and if you’re unsure as to whether or not you are depressed then this book is for you.
It is obvious that the author has never experienced true depression himself and that he is reading via script almost as if he himself didn’t actually write the book. He also goes into detail in one chapter about suicide, however if you’re truly suicidal you probably shouldn’t be reading this and should be seeking serious help. This is a VERY basic book for those who may just need some steps to help them get out of their funk. This writer / narrator is also quite young and not relatable to anyone probably over the age of 28.

Story
Mike Rinder’s parents began taking him to their local Scientology center when he was five years old. After high school, he signed a billion-year contract and was admitted into Scientology’s elite inner circle, the Sea Organization. Brought to founder L. Ron Hubbard’s yacht and promised training in Hubbard’s most advanced techniques, Rinder was instead put to work swabbing the decks. Still, Rinder bought into the doctrine that his personal comfort was secondary to the higher purpose of Hubbard’s world-saving mission.
