I've read.Dune twice in the past but this was my first time listening to an audio production. The narration and light background music was excellent. I highly recommend this audiobook

If you made it to book 9 then you know what you're in for. It delivers what's expected by now and a solid ending.

I had a hard time keeping track of some of the new-ish characters introduced in this book and if they had been introduced in the previous books, they had been inconsequential. The best scenes are in the last third of the book, but most chapters are a repeat of book 8 but from a dead person's POV, which makes for a pretty boring read. I ended up skipping some chapters in full and don't think I lost anything. At best this should have been a mich shorter novella.

Fantastic narration, story, steam, characters and hilarity. Amy Daws is quickly becoming a 1 click read for me!

I've really enjoyed Shen's Cruel Castaway series, and this is a solid entry that leaves a reader satisfied. The banter between Duffy and Riggs keeps the listener entertained and the angst level wasn't too bad. I loved Duffy's family and getting a glimpse of the characters from books 1 and 2.

The Score is a satisfying third entry in the Off Campus series. I enjoyed The Deal and the Mistake slightly more, but liked how the relationship between Allie and Dean grew in this one. The narration was very good, too. I would definitely recommend if you've enjoyed other Elle Kennedy books.

I've been a fan of the cure for over 30 years and my only regret is not reading this book sooner. Lol is an excellent narrator with a soothing voice that takes the reader on his life's journey, with The Cure and his friendship with Robert Smith being centerpiece for much of it. His battles are heartbreaking but all too human.

Finale to the All Saints High series

I've read the entire All Saints High and Sinners of Saints series and this book is their conclusion. This book is the story of Bailey and Levi, son of Dean Cole and the deceased Rosie. Along with Pretty Reckless, this is my least favorite story and I had to force myself to finish it. Bailey is addicted to painkillers and it's just a depressing journey to read about. Also, there is a lot of other-woman drama with Levi's delusional HS girlfriend that he strings along. Bailey and Levi love each other but I didn't feel the romance. There was nothing swoony in these pages, just a lot of emotional turmoil and pain, and some desire and devotion.

All LJ Shen novels have a certain level of angst and I prefer her at no more than Medium on the angst dial. This was just a lot. I may have liked this novel better if I read it but on Audible, I guess the narrator's did too good of a job expressing the characters' misery.

I really enjoyed this sweet Christmas romance. The narrators are great and breathe life into the story and the characters. I'm not sure I would have purchased it if I realized it was only 2.5 hours but I'm glad I did. It was engaging and enjoyable. There's no spice but there is a lot of desire, romance and emotion.

If you like emotional romances that can tear your heart apart and then piece you back together, Niko and Bran's journey will not disappoint. The narrators were perfect matches for the characters and added so much depth to the story. I just finished and am going to read this again. I absolutely loved it. Side note: MM is not a genre I usually enjoy but this love story transcended any limitations and bounds and was just beautiful. If you are a fan of Rina Kent, this will not disappoint.
