Story
Master one of our economy’s most rare skills and achieve groundbreaking results with this “exciting” audiobook (Daniel H. Pink) from an “exceptional” author (New York Times Book Review). Deep work is the ability to focus without distraction on a cognitively demanding task. It's a skill that allows you to quickly master complicated information and produce better results in less time. Deep Work will make you better at what you do and provide the sense of true fulfillment that comes from craftsmanship.

Good content, bad writing
Reviewed: 10-05-17
Difficult to stay focused. Cal makes some good points in the second half of the book but they are few and far between. Almost no practical real life in depth stories to back up his points. I rated 3 stars because the content is 4 or 5 star worth. The writing is 1 or 2 star worthy...

Story
Russ Harris offers a surprising solution to low self-confidence, shyness, and insecurity: Rather than trying to "get over" our fears, he says, the secret is to form a new and wiser relationship with them. Paradoxically, it's only when we stop struggling against our fearfulness that we begin to find lasting freedom from it.
