Story
The course is organized around a mnemonic device, developed by Professor Freeman, that can serve in any negotiation situation. Called "I FORESAW IT," this indispensable framework guides you in assembling the strongest possible case, showing you how to evaluate such factors as creative options, independent criteria, and your best alternative to a negotiated agreement.

Too Broad + Technical Glitches
Reviewed: 12-05-14
What disappointed you about The Art of Negotiating the Best Deal?
The points were too broad. Covering multiple types of negotiating made it feel less relevant and interesting. You have to do a lot of outside thinking to be able to apply the points given to your specific needs/interests
How did the narrator detract from the book?
The narrator either stuttered frequently, or there's a technical glitch. Either way, it was distracting

Story
Savannah has awakened to the fact that she's made too many concessions in her marriage. Bernadine has watched her megadivorce settlement dwindle. Robin has an all-American case of shopaholism. Gloria has taken happiness and security for granted. But being at the wrong place at the wrong time can change everything. All four are learning to heal past hurts and to reclaim their joy and their dreams; but they return to us full of spirit, sass, and faith in one another.

Laggy

What did you love best about Getting to Happy?
What I loved most about the book was that all characters were on their way to happiness and contentment with themselves and their lives.
Any additional comments?
I felt like this book lagged on a bit and was too long. There were several points in which the story could have ended after each one, i lost more and more interest.

What made the experience of listening to Ask for It the most enjoyable?
This book did not offer much eye opening, jaw dropping facts that are needed to keep my interest. I did enjoy the 6 Step Promotion Workout at the end, however. The steps are a different approach to prepping for the big promotion and negotiation conversation. I'd recommend using your monthly free credit for this one, not sure it's worth the purchase.

Would you consider the audio edition of Success Through Stillness to be better than the print version?
A must read/listen to for anyone who is looking to exercise/relax their mind, but does not respond to the usual yogi/Buddhist approaches.
