River is gone and Athens abandoned … With nowhere else to go, the Tartans evacuate both their citizens and the Hawaiian refugees to Galveston, the capital city of New Texas. Surrounded by pre-wave technology, Felicity has never been more uncomfortable while Winter thrives in her position as Assistant Director of the New Anaphedarin project. The shift in Tartan dynamics has caused some friction between the years-long group of friends, but as uncomfortable as the Athenians are, the Hawaiians are having an even harder time adjusting; particularly Zac.

Asher Mallone just wanted to do his time and retire. He and his family had plans. Unfortunately for him, the Teledyne Corporation had its own ideas, and they didn't track with Mallone's. The more he did and the better he became at his job, the more important tasks Teledyne assigned him, ultimately culminating in the creation of a force of corporate espionage specialists better than any other—past, present, or future. Retirement could wait a little longer.

It’s a good series with interesting take on future. It’s kinda all over the place. Gets a bit convoluted with so many different story’s from different times & places. Staring to wonder if it’s ever gonna tie together or just be a bunch of good stand alone books

Story
In the late 2020s and early '30s, corporations managed to render the major governments of the world obsolete. The big corporations owned most of the territories as well as the majority of the world's wealth. While many of the old traditions were still observed in various parts of the world, the true power was with the corporations. In the late '30s, what would be known as the Corporate Wars began as larger companies initiated hostile takeovers in a whole new fashion. Employees, armed with corporate weapons, warred for dominance. On May 1st, 2067, it all ended in a nuclear fire.

It’s a good series, but way too convoluted. Good characters, but there is so many from so many different places it’s hard to keep them straight. U can kinda of see where some stories might be going but others seem off. Time lines mixed up & plots mixed up. It’s kinda a shame because somewhere in all this are some interesting stories
