Can’t and won’t recommend indoctrination of children!
Reviewed: 09-30-23
But that the author had to shove her believes down our throats in the very end sours this book for me. The indoctrination of our children by people like M. G. Leonard isn’t much better than in any of the many schools raising our kids to confused adults, living in sin due to brainwashing of selfish idealists. Guilting kids into vegetarians is as bad as those windmills off shore killing the sea creatures, from Narwhal to amoeba. I can and will NOT EVER recommend this nook

Racistical story
Reviewed: 11-29-22
I have no clue what Mr.Reed wanted to accomplish with this garbage! I got this book by being misled it would be a thriller, instead I found that this ,I have no word what to call this, is trying to divide our country and it’s people even more, the last thing we need .
To the author himself’ Racism goes both ways!’ I deeply believe in equality of ALL human kind, but I found myself getting upset more each day getting stuff , like this here , shoved down my throat, forcefully! Why can’t we all just be? Are there racists out there? Of cause, but again it’s not only against non whites. We need to let COLORS and FEATURES, Religion and creed go and live each other more! Instead Mr. Reed concentrates on whites which are dying off, further the intended worldwide division of us against each other
As a human being I’m offended by this work of hatred and CANNOT, WILL NOT recommend this piece of lies recommend ever.
If you’re playing with the thought to read, listen to this”BOOK!!??!!??” I advise you to be prepared to get pissed with every word in this
A writer should take us away from hatred, maybe teach us gently to love each other, not to rile up more hatred!
SHAME ON MR.REED!

Without illigal(!!!!) immigration, no way
Reviewed: 05-12-22
Sorry, but I m very egged on. I am a naturalized American, in went through the hoops. I am empathic to immigrants, but not to ILEGAL ones. So, this outpouring pity in this story disgusts me.
The medical part is interesting and would have spellbound me in a different background.
The narrator is the only one which kept me interested. I’m planning to return this book. It stands against me and my experience with DHS, when this country was United, proud, free; when this country was just!
Due to my own story I’m about to puke, disgusted by the underlying racism in the second part of this…….

Some authors need to learn to not put politics in

Their books
While the story has potential and I can acknowledge all the research done to write this book, it’s a big put-out for me to realize that his own political views are written in the story. E.g. Mr.Lawrence has chosen to mention Pizzagate in the story….why? It has nothing to do with epidemics! Besides that the specific incident was NEVER investigated so this author chooses to use his book to spread half-lies.
I’ll most likely will give the story a few more chances, but at strike three I’ll stop listening and return this book. It’s sad, that even a leisure like reading gets used to divide the masses!
But then….. New York Times….

Jackie was definitely inspired by COVID-19. We all are just lucky the real pandemic wasn’t as deadly as the one in the book. Characters are strong and description are informative enough too keep the reader/listener interested. One should take Jackie’s story as inspiration “ Let’s make the best of the pandemic!”

Over half of this book puts me to sleep
Reviewed: 07-22-19
The first half of this book could have been written in two chapters. I was about to give up on it, when the pace picked up. Though honestly I am put out by any political comments. From his writing I gathered that Mr. Masterton is a Democrat, though British/ Scottish. I hate it when any author takes swipes at any party. I read/listen to books to be transferred into a different world not to be reminded of the strenuous relations between left and right.
I’m certain I will not read any more of his books, even though horror/fantasy is my favorite genre.
As an author myself, I can’t recomm this book without warning of boredom and political incorrectness

For beginners not bad, not bad at all

What made the experience of listening to Apocalypse Coming the most enjoyable?
Even though Mr. & Mrs. Dunaway changed names, you'll know ho they are talking about.
First they wrote a little comprehensive, but soon they changed and brought to paper what a lot of the American people fear, about our values and how certain politicians tried and still try to destroy. I didn't mind how fiction then took over, because lots of fellow patriots feared just that.
Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?
The plot, of cause is fiction, but it could have easily happened. With the change of the regime, we had, this ending is that, fiction, thanks God.
Have you listened to any of Ben Clark’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
No
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
Actually the whole story is weaved with moments which touch your heart, but outstanding for me, a non church-but deeply believer in God, was that I'm not alone in my religion and that the charming authors are not afraid to stand by their God
Any additional comments?
I tried to find the two on twitter, cause Facebook is so extremely censored, but sadly couldn't find them. There would be lots of tweets which could spark the muse of Bill and Cindy
