I listen to this audio book while doing other things. each subsequent time I hear something new. The author's take on The Secret is accurate and in many ways much easier to listen to than having many different narrators. also, I appreciate this author breaking the techniques into steps or stages.

I enjoyed the story, but was wishing it would end, like 3 tangents sooner than it did.

Follett is my favorite storyteller and I loved this tale of Edgar the builder and the Lady Ragnar. Beautifully narrated, too!

I'm not a fan of mysteries. This one switches character narratives too often. The plot is further complicated by using a third person omniscient narrator. This would be better if read directly from the book.

This memoir had to be purgative for Tara to write. I listened to it in my Audible app. Her writing was enthralling, but her subject matter, namely most of her immediate family, were completely repugnant to me. I will have to remove these images from my mind. Her book left me shaking, literally shaking.

A little slow starting, but enjoyable tale. Fun lesser characters. Excellent narration. I'm downloading another Grisham.

First person narrative of a teenaged girl who lost two childhood friends. She works through the emotional frustrations of growing up in a gang neighborhood. She is angry at her own culture and the white culture. She blames both for the deaths of her friends.
