Story
Word to the wise, never become roommates with a girl you’ve been pining over for the better part of a year. You're probably wondering why I would do such a thing? Well, I didn’t. It was my teammates. The moment they found out Blakely White was single, they took it upon themselves to play cupid and instruct me on how I should win her over. Don't wear a shirt around her. Make her dinner. Lightly touch her shoulder when you say goodbye. I'm so flustered, so overwhelmed, so madly in love with this woman who barely notices me.

Story
Gigi Graham has exactly three goals: qualify for the women's national hockey team, win Olympic gold, and step out of her famous father's shadow. So far, so good, except for two little things. Fine—a little thing and a big, grumpy thing. She needs to improve her game behind the net, and she needs help from Luke Ryder. Ryder is six-foot five, built, opinionated, rude . . . and sexy as hell. But he's still the enemy.

Story
"In here," he said, pushing on the skin above my heart, "you're 10 below zero. And you're closer to death than I am." My name is Parker. My body is marked with scars from an attack I don't remember. I don't want to remember. I choose to live my life by observation, not through experience. While people are laughing and kissing and connecting, I'm in the corner. Watching them live. I'm indifferent to everything, everyone. The only emotion I feel with any kind of depth is annoyance, and I feel it often.

I read about 400 books per year, and I have NEVER in my life been so shaken by a single book. This was my first experience with this author so I only had previous reviews to go off of, and the things people said made me assume it’d be emotional but probably just like a lot of the other “gut wrenching” and “angsty” romance novels I read regularly.
No. Just, no.
This story made me have to stop driving and turn off audible because I was hyperventilating crying and could not get a grip. I have never, NEVER, been so terrified of finishing a book. I knew if I was feeling this way with more than an hour left, that I’d probably throw up from crying if I went any further.
Yes, I finished it.
Yes, I’m glad I finished it.
Yes, I will listen to this again, probably in a year or so because I obviously need some serious recovery time.
And, yes, YOU should listen to this story as well.
Seriously. GAH. This author tried to make my heart stop. Still dealing with aftershocks of emotional distress from this book.
Side note: Listen to this at 1.2 speed because the narrator is really good but SOOOOO SLOWWWW. 1.2 is the equivalent of normal tempo.

Story
The quintessential question asked to every couple. And the answer is usually some bubbly, lovey dovey tale of being struck in the bum by Cupid’s arrow. My meet cute (well, not so meet cute) is slightly different. I was trolling a wealthy neighborhood in Beverly Hills, searching for someone to take me as their bride, you know, to make my arch nemesis jealous who consequently just fired me.

I absolutely love MQ, but this book was SO MUCH FUN! When I saw how long it was I feared the story would drag on, but it did not in the slightest. The character development was awesome and somehow MQ found the perfect combination of slow burn romance and delicious sexcapades.
Also, the narrators were incredible. Great casting! 10/10 would recommend!

I have read the Off Campus series a handful of times (it takes an exceptional story for me to go back and read it again, and I keep re-reading those books). Each book in the series is a masterpiece, and The Legacy is the perfect epilogue to my four favorite couples.
Kennedy’s witty and sarcastic writing is so much fun and never gets old. Stella Bloom does such a great job with all the female voices, and Zachary Webber is 😍😍😍!!
Definitely worth the credit. I’m sure I’ll read/listen to this five times over as well.

I love everything from this author and the start of this new series did not disappoint! The characters were endearing and I loved how Madison grew as a person throughout the story. I was nervous that this book was not dual POV, but after finishing the story it makes perfect sense that this was all told from Madison's POV. Walker is definitely a main character, but this story is mostly about Madison's growth and Walker is a complement to her. Great book!

I’ve loved Ryson for as long as I can remember. He stole my heart on set when we were teenagers and hasn’t let it go since. It hasn’t always been easy being Hollywood’s hottest couple, but it’s always been worth it. Until now. I never thought anything could come between us. I never imagined a scenario where Ryson and I wouldn’t be together...but here we are, living out my worst nightmare. And in the public eye, no less.

This book ripped my heart apart. The way the author details the characters' thoughts and feelings through their trials was so real and heart wrenching that at times I was nauseous with grief. This is definitely the heaviest story I've read from her, and it was incredible.
