Fantastic!

There’s an emotional aspect to this cozy mystery. Sabrina’s friend goes missing, and it takes her back to her own sister’s disappearance. Your heart goes out to these fantastic characters. It’s refreshing to see a heroine still kick butt, but still have emotional reactions like a normal person.

There is so much right with this book. The history is brilliant, and beautifully emotional. The tension between Wolf and Eloise is just fantastic. The chemistry is perfection, and the steamy scenes are just perfection. The characters are well written and develop beautifully. I'm definitely going to continue the series... The narration really brings the story to life.

Stunning and Sexy
Reviewed: 05-11-19
The story is beautifully emotional as well as gorgeously erotic. The very first part of the book, the birth and early life of Robert, will leave you close to tears. The rest of the book splits its time between exquisite pain in matters of the heart and just stunningly written scenes of steamy sex. Between a man mending his own heartbreak, and a woman taking back the power that was stripped from her.

Listening to these stories is a fantastic experience. You can almost feel as though you have traveled back in time, and Carl Brooke himself is telling you his stories. The storytelling is simply fantastic, both from the writing of the stories themselves, and from the author narrating his own brilliant works.
