Story
Someone should have warned me about falling in love with my best friend. Carolina: Little did I know when Rex came to my locker attempting to bribe me that he’d turn into my everything. We’d become best friends. I’d steal his heart. He’d steal mine. Nothing has changed in the years of our friendship. Not our connection, not our feelings, or that we still hold each other’s hearts. But his heart isn’t the only thing I’ve kept. The secret I’m hiding could shatter the only man I’ve ever loved.

Friends to lovers
🌶️🌶️🌶️
I listened to Just Friends on audio. I thought the narrators brought this book to life in the best way.
I think this is my favorite of the Blue Beech books. It can be read as a standalone but features cameos and tidbits from previous characters and their stories. I enjoyed how the epilogue tied in all the couples for a perfect end to the series.
In the previous book, you see a glimpse into Rex's POV. This book starts out with their friendship in high school then moves to college so there is a small time jump. I absolutely loved how he is always there for Carolina. She is the perfect good girl with a bad side and he is the boy with a playboy reputation.
This entire series is a must-read. They are light-hearted with touches of conflict.

Story
Heath Holiday. My crush on him has ebbed and flowed over the years, but the day I started working for his construction company was the day I smothered it for good. Sort of. Mostly. It was on my to-do list. Making it a priority would have been easier had he not arrived at his family’s annual Christmas party looking ridiculously handsome in a suit. Then he kissed me. We stepped into an alternate universe and he kissed me.

Listened to this on audio. The narrators were fantastic!
Just like the first book in the series, it is based around Christmas and can be read as a standalone. Book 2 is spicier than the first one. I enjoyed Stella and Health a lot. I felt there was more depth to their characters and their story.

Story
One week with one little girl—an angel, according to my staffing agency. Acting as the short-term nanny for a single dad should have been an easy way to make some extra cash. Until I show up for my first day and face off with a demon disguised as a seven-year-old girl wearing a red tutu and matching glitter slippers. Oh, and her father? My temporary boss? Maddox Holiday. The same Maddox Holiday I crushed on in high school. The same Maddox Holiday who didn’t even know I existed.

Book 1 of the Holiday Brothers. Can be read as a standalone. Each book is a different brother.
This was a lighthearted book set during Christmastime. In my opinion, Natalie's relationship with Violet was even better than with Maddox. I'm not usually a Christmas theme reader and I don't enjoy Hallmark movies. That being said, I did enjoy this book as it was set during Christmas but that wasn't the main part of the plot.

The narrators did a great job reading this book. It was a quick listen.
Sing is book one in the Saving Tate Series. I felt like the story went by too fast in the sense that things were left out. For example, Tate all of a sudden stopped being a playboy and Zoey didn't question it. Maybe it's because it was a lighter story, but there wasn't a ton of conflict except for Zoey's mom. (Lighter, but also read triggers: suicide attempt, drug use, death)
If you want an instalove feel then this book is for you. The main characters are great and the other band members seem like wonderful people to be friends with. Their stories are being told in future books.

This book will have you on a rollercoaster of emotions and spans from high school into adulthood for the characters. Annie and Tyler go through so much as individuals and together. Annie's dad does not want her to follow in his footsteps even though her dream is to have a career in music. Tyler has a magical gift of playing the guitar but is persuaded to stay away from Annie by her dad.
Piper's ability to make you feel all the characters' emotions is phenomenal. The narrators did a great job of bringing Annie and Tyler to life.

Story
What happens in Vegas doesn't always stay there. I would know. I'm coming home with a brand-new ring on my finger. My wife: Ryan Bell. We're polar opposites. She's sunshine and happiness. I'm grumpy and scarred—literally. We could get it annulled and no one would be the wiser. Only problem? We posted about it online, and it's already making headlines. I can't afford to get that kind of attention and tank my career, and Ryan needs my help too. We make a plan: stay married for one year, play our roles, and divorce amicably at the end. No harm, no foul.

A+ on the banter. I love when the characters have such witty conversations. Teagan did them justice in that department.
Rhodes and Ryan are the cutest couple ever. True romance read for all.

The narrator did awesome on both parts. I’m usually thrown out of a book with one narrator, but she did so good.
This was my first encounter with both a “sugar baby” and dominant female storyline. It’s not my thing, but I think the story unfolded beautifully.
The spice was hot with the characters exploring new fantasies and roles.
