Basic. And ends with a nearly 30min "preview" (or as) for another book
Reviewed: 10-13-19
There are better books on speed reading out there. This one outlines techniques but often feels like it's contradicting itself. The icing was the 30 min advert for another book from the author.

There’s nothing in this...
Reviewed: 11-03-17
Writing a bad review on this feels like kicking a puppy. You can’t fault how likeable and sweet Harry is. But there is very little content here and if you are already running or doing light to moderate exercise it’ll only serve as a reminder to get up and going while you’re reading it.
There’s also an irritating retake left in that wasn’t cut out. That’s frustrating.

Story
A riveting, powerful telling of the story of the grassroots movement of activists, many of them in a life-or-death struggle, who seized upon scientific research to help develop the drugs that turned HIV from a mostly fatal infection to a manageable disease. Ignored by public officials, religious leaders, and the nation at large, and confronted with shame and hatred, this small group of men and women chose to fight for their right to live by educating themselves and demanding to become full partners in the race for effective treatments.

This isn't an easy listen, and there are times it gets confusing because it covers so many players and so much medical information, but it's a powerful account of a terrifying time. A must read.

No real info or detail
Reviewed: 05-12-17
There was no real info or detail in this book. She had no technique, just "take it easy..." which is hardly enough to justify buying a book.
Also; the recording sounds like it's being played from a cassette.
One benefit is that she's charismatic. So it's easy enough to listen to.

Some good tips, but descends into nonsense
Reviewed: 01-16-17
There are some tips on here that will make a difference instantly. My sleep has hugely improved with the basic and common sense approach.
However, once you get past that, the book just feels like filler and a sales ad for Nick's special bed. The emphasis on sport is also a little grating and sometimes the name dropping is pointless.
Most importantly though, the narrator is dreadful. Is intonation makes no sense with sentences having random pauses halfway through them for no reason.
