The narrator reads it so slow I thought the speed was at 0.5x. It was so slow I had to increase it just to attempt to follow the story…It didn’t help.

Love this continuation of The Pucking Wrong Series. It is so funny to see the same “Circle of Trust” his brother is a part of play out in this story. This narrators do a great job to bring the story to life. They make it so easy to imagine everything the characters are doing. I cannot wait for the second book to come out as an audiobook.

Good Quick Listen but…

The story is a good quick listen this is a single narrator. He does it like it is a duet. What does bring down the story is that the male part sounds like an old man that needs to clear his throat. The female part actually sounds like a man trying to sound like a woman. It does not sound like he is trying at all. I have listened to many audiobooks that have male narrators that do female parts they usually have a feminine cadence to their voice. He just sounds like he’s whispering out of breath.

It is nice to see that if you love something you let it go. If it is meant to be it will come back to you. Both of those old adages ring true in this story. So sweet.

Enough with the music references

The music references were getting on my nerves and I couldn’t even finish it. It seemed like every chapter had 2 or 3. And not that it would make a difference but I do not even know the bands/groups/artists they were referring to. I am assuming the references were supposed to give you some insight to the character’s mood but if you have no clue about the song it just gets annoying.

The plot is good but the narrator ruins the story for me. It is hard for me to fully immerse myself in the story when the narrator sounds like he is quickly reading a bedtime story to a child for the first time.

He falls in love with her but she's in already in love with him. The best arrangement is to get married temporarily, of course. Neither one of them knows the other's true feelings.

What started off as a deal to help each other. Turns into something more. I love it when you can actually visualize when they characters relationships start to change. Even though they have not. The narrator does a great English accent. Don't know if that is her real voice or not but it sounds authentic to me.

Rye and Ash are thrown together to plan a wedding. During this time they get to know each other. The chemistry is off the charts and during their affair a little surprise shows up. I like the dynamic between Rye and Ash. They are more believable as an actual couple than other age Gap stories I've read.

It was hard to tell the difference between the main characters due to them sounding alike. Because of this it took away from the story.
