Story
Lily Weiss is her mother’s worst nightmare: thirty-two and single - the horror! She’s also a talented writer but hides behind a boring job at a science foundation. To her friends, she’s reliable and selfless, which is how she winds up a bridesmaid in five weddings in six weeks. Anything for her three best friends and two (younger) siblings, right? Even if her own love life is...well, she’d rather not talk about it. To keep her sanity, Lily needs a safe place to vent. And so her anonymous blog, Bridesmania, is born.

Awful

I only started this because I liked another book written by this author. This one was awful and makes me rethink my other review! The main character makes horrible decisions in life while judging other’s stupidity as less than her own. I had to stop witnessing this tragic life.

I stayed up to listen to this well written family drama. I downloaded it from kindle unlimited and had no idea what to expect. I would definitely read another book by this author and will seek out more by this narrator. A compelling story of honor, courage and what it means to love.

I wasn’t really sure I liked the message of this one at first as Corbin became a Christian so recently and put too much faith in Willow instead of God, but it eventually worked out and it was a great story of forgiveness and God’s grace.

Story
Exciting start of a brand-new series by a contemporary romance fan favorite. After a devastating heartbreak three years ago, genealogist and historical village owner Nora Bradford has decided that burying her nose in her work and her books is far safer than romance in the here and now. Unlike Nora, former Navy SEAL and Medal of Honor recipient John Lawson is a modern-day man, usually 100% focused on the present.
