I’ve been sitting here for awhile just staring at the wall. I wasn’t expected to be broken like that. I know understand why this series is so popular. I am IMMEDIATELY starting 𝘒𝘦𝘦𝘱𝘪𝘯𝘨 13, I have to know what happens in Shannon and Johnny’s story.
Shannon is a character I deeply connected to and her story just breaks my soul. So many times throughout this book did I wish I could hug her. I absolutely adore Johnny for the way he treats Shannon from the very beginning. He is immediately protective of her, he see it made me swoon. I cannot recommend this enough.

Gideon Holiday is the perfect neighbor. Need a cup of sugar? Spare folding chair? Extra batteries? He's always ready to help. And he's waited years for his hot, grumpy, silver-fox neighbor, Paul, to need him. For anything. Story
I know I should stay away from Ian Parker. But when my drug-dealing stepdad kicks me out, I have nowhere to go. Squatting in an abandoned shed on Ian’s grandpa’s farm seems like as good a plan as any. Ian finds me there, of course, and he insists on me moving into his spare room. I should say no, but the appeal of a roof and a warm bed is too much. Not to mention Ian’s brown eyes and strong arms. We’re nothing alike, but the spark between us is undeniable. But then I call the cops on my stepdad and unintentionally get my pregnant mom arrested.

I really enjoyed watching Hazel’s journey. She had a very hard upbringing, and seeing her grow and change was beautiful. Oh Ian, such a damaged soul, but seeing his journey is what made this worth it. I would recommend this.

Story
Clare and Henry have known each other since Clare was six and Henry was 36. They were married when Clare was 23 and Henry was 31. Impossible but true, because Henry is one of the first people diagnosed with Chrono-Displacement Disorder: periodically his genetic clock resets and he finds himself misplaced in time, pulled to moments of emotional gravity from his life, past and future. His disappearances are spontaneous, his experiences unpredictable, alternately harrowing and amusing.

I enjoyed how this was told in multiple POVs and multiple timelines. We slowly got information and this had me at the edge of my seat wanting to know what’s going to happen next. I really felt for Claire, and couldn’t imagine never knowing when your husband will be there or not. I love Henry, and his relationship with Claire. Definitely recommend

East House is the oldest and least desirable dorm on campus, but it has a draw for lonely university freshman Aleeza Kassam: Jay Hoque, the hot and broody student who vanished from East House five months ago without a trace. It’s irresistible to an aspiring investigative journalist like Aleeza. But when she starts receiving texts from Jay, the mystery takes an unexpected turn. To put it mildly.

This was such a good story. I binged this in less than a day. I was instantly hooked and was listening every moment I could. Aleeza was such a wonderful character, and I was so happy seeing her find her own voice. The suspense of wondering what happened with Jay had me at the edge of my seat throughout. I did not see any of the twists coming. Highly recommend

My love story all started with a letter. Only it wasn’t from the man I’d eventually fall in love with. It was from his daughter. A sweet little girl named Birdie Maxwell who’d written to the magazine that I worked for. You see, once a year my employer fulfilled a few wishes for readers. Only that column didn’t start up again for months. So I fulfilled some of her wishes myself. It was harmless…so I thought. Until one day I took things too far. While anonymously granting yet another of Birdie’s wishes, I got a look at her father.
