Enjoyed this book. Wished it were longer. The personal stories behind the historical events he covered were appreciated. The ending, poignant and on target regarding journalism, our country and democracy. You summed it up really well, Dan!

I loved this book and Tara's narration from beginning to end. it was just what I needed right now as I nurture the seedling of a big idea that is scary and exciting. The insights were light bulb moments and permission for self-compassion. The suggested exercises to bring the information forward in a way to allow me to create the changes and impacts I seek or spot on and small enough to feel doable. The Conclusion reinspired me about my own vision, as it perfectly aligned with Tara's and strengthened my confidence that my vision is not just mine, is necessary and inevitable, and that we went in are up to the task of transforming the old, dominantly masculine systems that are dividing us instead of uniting us.
