Story
This classic poem, "The Night Before Christmas" by Clement Clarke Moore, has been translated into Scots by Scottish author Kirsty Strange. Blending Scottish humor with a jaunty musical score by James Strange, this version is a fresh take on a classic while preserving the original poem's festive and nostalgic essence. So snuggle doon and enjoy this nostalgic trip with your bairns as you experience the magic of Christmas with a Scottish twist.

Story
When Britt, a modern young woman, is pulled by a magical summons back through time she finds herself smack in the middle of the schemes of the surprisingly young and handsome wizard Merlin. Britt has no interest in the throne, and she definitely doesn't want to pretend she is the legendary King Arthur, but Merlin has some bad news.

Picks up in chapter 9

I hate books that have the MFC thinking her life is over at 40 and then the grieving for her loss capped it off. As an older woman, I have yet to encounter this way of thinking in any other woman. The book improved once that line of thinking disappeared. I started to enjoy it more by Chapter 9.

Story
When a young halfling with snark, an attitude, and a criminal record breaks into the ranks of agents at FGA a lot of members aren't happy. Unfortunately, those upset can't argue Agent Paris Beaufont's results are incredible. She just doesn't follow the rules to get things done. For some incredible results just aren't enough! Corruption has insinuated itself deep inside the ranks of agents at FGA. Many believe that tradition is what makes love go 'round. Are they wrong? Will changing the old ways stop love from blossoming in the world?

I hate that I cannot finish this series but I am officially sick of writers making the MFC so stupid. I finished the first book and started the second and saw no improvement. The performance is good. It is the story that disappoints.

Story
Released from the magic pokey and paroled with limited power is enough to make any witch grumpy. However, if you throw in a recently resurrected cat, a lime-green Kia, and a sexy egotistical werewolf, it's enough to make a gal fly off the edge. Not to mention a mission...with no freaking directions. So here I sit in Asscrack, West Virginia, trying to figure out how to complete my mysterious mission before All Hallows Eve when I'll get turned into a mortal.

Disappointing

A close friend suggested this book to me. I had actually bought the kindle version nearly a year ago but had forgotten it. First issue, I hated the performance. Her voice drove me crazy. Second issue, why is the author so hateful in regards to West Virginia? Third and last issue, the main character is annoying, shallow and not very intelligent. I was gracious in the stars I have given. This story had hints of something more. That "something" never happened.

But Bonnie finds a less-than-warm welcome in Rowan MacGregor, the rugged local handyman.

Story
Sometimes, survival depends on not being seen. I should know. That’s the only way I’ve survived. Getting accepted into a prestigious university was my chance at freedom; to escape and live without fear and resentment. And with no emotional attachments - or at least that was the plan. Until I see Egan. He’s sexy, mysterious, and has muscles in all the right places. He invokes feelings I don’t want or understand.
