I really love this series, but this one is my favorite! I’m also going to need several more books to continue with all these characters! I love their back stories and their personalities and the way their lives intertwine through each book. They’re all very oooey goooey queer romance at its finest 🖤
The 4 star for overall is because of the editing. There were several spots that repeated throughout the books. Otherwise it was all 5 star for me! I love the writing and the narration!

Story
When Jeanie’s aunt gifts her the beloved Pumpkin Spice Café in the small town of Dream Harbor, Jeanie jumps at the chance for a fresh start away from her very dull desk job. Logan is a local farmer who avoids Dream Harbor’s gossip at all costs. But Jeanie’s arrival disrupts Logan’s routine and he wants nothing to do with the irritatingly upbeat new girl, except that he finds himself inexplicably drawn to her. Will Jeanie’s happy-go-lucky attitude win over the grumpy-but-gorgeous Logan, or has this city girl found the one person in town who won’t fall for her charm, or her pumpkin spice lattes.

Story
Kira North hates Christmas. Which is unfortunate since she just bought a Christmas tree farm in a town that’s too cute for its own good. Bennett Ellis is on vacation in Dream Harbor taking a break from his life in California. And most importantly, taking a break from his latest run of disastrous dates. After a run-in with Kira in her fields, Ben has no intention of offering to help the grumpy owner set up her tree farm, despite the fact she’s clearly got no idea what she’s doing. But somehow fate finds Ben at Kira’s farm once more.

I loved the premise of this book right out of the gate. I was hooked the moment Celeste walked through the park & confidently strides up to John, ready to be his fake date. This has friendships & birds & the great outdoors & very real feeling/difficult situations to sort through. The romance is hot. I fell in love with the supporting characters. Everyone was clearly written with care & love. The narrators for the Audible version were très magnifique 💋 🤌🏼

As a young single dad with a teaching job, I haven't had much opportunity to date. My son is my entire world, and though I would love to have a partner and someone to count on, the passing years have shown that it's just not in the cards for me. So when the gorgeous lumberjack of a man—the same man that I've had a massive crush on since the moment we became neighbors—suddenly asks me out on a date, I'm completely blindsided.

Holiday cheer in July!
Reviewed: 07-03-24
I read YCCOM during the holiday season last year and adored it. So, I was ecstatic when it came out on Audible last month! The story itself is ooooey gooooey sweet, much like the maple syrup Trent dribbles in his beard when eating breakfast. It’s filled with character growth & pining & getting to know one’s self. It has the Montgomery family & all the shenanigans within. It has holiday cheer & unexpected twists (Ben’s is my favorite oh my GAWWWD). And it has Bubba. Bubba has my heart & I could go on and on about the different scenes I loved with him! He is written with such cleverness, wit and charm and LOVE….I have gone back to listened to so many Bubba scenes! Which brings me to the narrators~ Liam DiCosimo & Stephen Dexter are 2 of my top favorites and they did NOT disappoint! Stephen with Rooster’s voice GAHHHHHH so damn GOOD!
Truth be told, I’ve listened to it twice all the way through & have gone back to several scenes that are so beautiful. I love Fae’s writing, the creativity, the thoughtfulness with each & every character….Highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I read the ARC for NAOD & LOVED it. So, I was chomping at the bit to hear the Audible version! I already knew Kirt Graves would be wonderful. I had never heard Evan Parker narrate. They👏🏼were👏🏼incredible! They both brought out the personalities in these characters, completely enveloping me as I listened. Get your tissues out because these two gentleman bring passion & feeling & realness to Matt’s already gorgeous story!
Wardell’s 3rd book in his Teachers In Love series is another knockout~ weaving intricate details into each character, thoughtfully delving into the subject of OCD (Vincent) & also Kent’s “clumsiness,” if you will. Their love story isn’t one of perfection, but one of learning, growth & grace……and a LOT of heat! This book (and the entire series) is a valentine to queer educators. It’s exquisite, truly!
Also~ Ruth!!!! She is the best💛
