Story
Tech designer Sloane Reinhart and her ten-year-old daughter, Gwyneth, were living ordinary lives outside of Milan, Italy, when an extraordinary event occurred. The sky turned to swirling hues of purplish red and blue, and a thunderclap shook the land. Then there was a blinding flash and a gale force of wind that separated Sloane and Gwyn from each other—and Earth.

A lot of the time when I listen to an audio book I just wait for the next audio release. This one, though, I can't wait. Even after a 17 hour audiobook (which is a total steal for 1 audible credit) I want more, and will definitely be looking to read everything that's currently out.
Seriously, if you're on the fence and you like epic fantasy worlds, then I couldn't recommend this one enough.

Story
Heather Morell is haunted. Otherworldly nightmares and monstrous hallucinations lurk around every corner, relics of childhood bereavement and schizophrenia. Until she meets Evelyn and Raine—a bad-tempered mage and her self-proclaimed bodyguard—and learns that she’s not insane after all. The monsters she sees are all too real, the god-thing in her nightmares is teaching her the secrets of creation, and her twin sister—the lost girl who supposedly never existed—might still be clinging on, a dwindling soul somewhere beyond the walls of reality, Outside.

Excellent as always

This book leans heavily into the stats and planning. It feels like it's mostly designed to setup the new setting, characters and plot rather than actually progressing any of it.
Definitely can't wait for the next!

When Deputy US Marshal Danielle "Danny" Martin was told she'd gotten a promotion, she expected to be leading her own fugitive retrieval team. Instead, she got transferred to Pontian, Florida, of all places, and assigned to a Superhero support detail for Focus, a seemingly immortal superhero who is also one of the most famous lesbian icons on the planet. Bad enough she's got to spend every day working with a woman she's had a crush on since she was five years old, but when she arrives at her new post, things start getting weird.

Story
After dying and being reborn into a world that's built like a video game, Jim has found himself stuck in a very old-world style new-player zone for low-level adventurers. Unfortunately, the zone fell out of use centuries ago, and no one told the monsters they were supposed to take it easy on the Noobs. Even worse, the only new player around is Jim. Jim has been given an opportunity, and he'll do his best to take advantage of it.

This book is a great.
It's a pretty crunchy litrpg isekai, so be prepared for a lot of stats, levels, and full minutes of reading off character sheets.
Beyond the litrpg elements, the writing is excellent and witty. There were a ton of amazingly quotable moments that left a smile on my face or had me doubled over in laughter.
If you enjoy litrpg, town building, or crafting in your stories, then I can't recommend this book enough.

This book actually turned out really good. Like a lot of people say the beginning is a little bit rough but it quickly evolves into something great and at several times forced me to hit the pause button because I was laughing too hard to keep listening.
