The battle in the heavens has left a target on Lindon’s back. His most reliable ally is gone, the Monarchs see him as a threat, and he has inherited one of the most valuable facilities in the world. At any moment, his enemies could band together to kill him. If it weren’t for the Dreadgods. All four are empowered and unleashed, rampaging through Cradle, and grudges old and new must be set aside. The Monarchs need every capable fighter to help them defend their territory.

I am in LOVE with this whole series and this is best book so far!! I love the narrator and im so thankful that he’s been able to read the whole series so far!! Please keep him until this series ends! I read that there is only one book left in this series and I’m hoping that the author will write a series after this one about how the characters are in the new world they are going to…this author is one of my favorite and I’ve read and listened to A LOT of books. I’m really happy with what he did with Dross, I won’t spoil it for you. I hope he doesn’t kill of any of his main characters in the last book because I love them all, especially Eithan their mentor!!

Sacred Valley has been saved...at least, what’s left of it. With his home finally secure, Lindon delves deep into the ancient labyrinth, seeking long-lost Soulsmithing knowledge and the secret to destroying the Dreadgods. Monarchs plot against him and against each other, unaware of the threats gathering in realms beyond. Far above Lindon and the Monarchs and the Dreadgods, another war is waged. Suriel and the Abidan clash against the Mad King and his forces in a battle for the fate of many worlds. And if it is lost, Cradle will be destroyed.

This whole series has been such a great ride so far!! I’m already hating that I finished it bc now I’m dying for the next book to be written and it’s going to be awhile before I get to walk another adventure with the characters I know and love. I LOVE the narrator’s voice and how he really embodies the characters he reads!! It’s like having 6 different people reading you the book. The character development over these 10 books is truly a work of art from Will Wight! He has made me laugh, cry, worry and love his characters. My only concern is that Dross won’t come back the way he was AND HE NEEDS TO COME BACK!!! I miss his humor and he kept things from getting too serious and harsh…to heck with Lindon, I want him back please don’t take 3 more books to bring him back the way he was…a friend and partner that loved all his “family”.

The author is fantastic and I am counting down the days for book 3! I can’t wait to see where he takes the book! All the characters are Fantastic and so layered! Truly impressed with Everything he is doing with the story❤️! Nickel is such a great character with such a big heart! He’s going to be the one that pulls them all together in the end. My only problem is he has too many blind lucks…he doesn’t have much control and it’s just luck getting him through it. I know he is the under dog but he’s got a lot to learn…I just hope he does more training in the future bc it’d be epic for him to have a little training in every power when the show down came. I just see him fumbling to victory…he got kicked enough already, I just want him to have faith in himself before going to the final book.

His vengeance against the gods of Olympus years behind him, Kratos now lives as a man in the realm of Norse gods and monsters. It is in this harsh, unforgiving world that he must fight to survive...and teach his son to do the same. This startling reimagining of God of War deconstructs the core elements that defined the series - satisfying combat, breathtaking scale, and a powerful narrative - and fuses them anew.

I just want to say that I enjoy the narrator in this but he’s hard to understand sometimes. I wish the story would have been more detailed…I felt a lot was lacking in the storyline. I’m familiar with Norse mythology and I think it’s best to know about it if you want to try this book out. It doesn’t explain much and I do t feel a true drive for the characters. It was good but just not great

But he soon finds that without meaning to, he complicates and then endangers the lives of everyone he comes to know and care about. For when it comes to magic, there are rules and laws, and the untrained mage-to-be must be careful not to tap into deep forces and ancient enmities. Otherwise, other people might end up paying the price for his mistakes.

Great Book!!

The narrator is a great, natural storyteller. I normally do not leave reviews on a stand alone book, that isn’t part of a series. I really enjoyed this short book!! I gave the story part 4 stars instead of 5 bc I wish the author had given a little more to the story….especially the ending. I wish the author had put as much love and attention to the ending as he did to the first part. I would have liked to hear more of this world and magical abilities!! I’m hoping that there is a series linked to this one short story!! Definitely hoping for a series!! Plus it’s great for a free book!!

This author is absolutely wonderful! He weaves such a wonderful story that keeps you racing towards the next sentence. All the characters and creatures are totally brilliant and so different from each other. How he even weaves the culture inside so you’re right there walking with him. Like he explains in the library, words fall short at how cool he made it. Because that’s how I feel when I read, you get sucked in. I love the pig race chapter and how he thinks about his funeral because I think that sometimes after I do something. I like the very maid to the morbid funny side of reality. I see how horrible my death and funny my life is….sometimes. Thank you for the labor of love to the readers out here

I absolutely love this book series!! I wish they would make the MC a tad smarter…she is smart but misses a lot of easy problems. She does however get it right when it really counts! I hope they continue to strengthen the bond between Karman and Brax in future books!! Only BAD thing in this book is Chapter 57🤨…it is just STRANGE!!! Doesn’t make ANY sense and could have used that chapter to strengthen the ending. Instead of this random jumble of nonsense. Other than that, Amazing read!

All I can say is….why have 2 lead characters when you’re only writing that 1 character does EVERYTHING for the “team”…he wrote this kid as a “miracle, save the world kid”…when in fact he just whines, complains or lets his magic get out of control. The has done Everything!!! Even his ideas are all wrong?!!? I hate books like this!! Where the author makes you think it’s an equal team, or could be equal team…and then has only one person do anything of value. Plus the narrator isn’t as good in this book as the others

“Before I can begin my tale, you need to know about the king's panties.” So begins the epic adventure of 14-year-old Nigel, digger of latrines, shoveler of poop, and the single greatest threat to all the humans, elves, and halflings of Esteria. Nigel needs to escape from military school. Who can blame him? After all, the king just declared war on the gorks, and he's pretty sure his latrine-digging skills aren't going to be much good on the front lines.

I’m not going to give too much of the book away. Let’s just say, I think he might have had a hard time coming up with a totally new idea. It’s really funny and it keeps you listening. I will say that if I’d bought this book instead of it being a free read, I’d probably be upset. Definitely worth a listen with the family on long trips or things like that! My son who never really gets into books, really thought it was hilarious!! So, I’m not downing it, gave it high stars!! Just a bit of The Lord of the Rings…so that’s why I’m on the fence about the story line.
