listening to the Author sounds like a friend rather than an "expert". I have a lot of these books...go figure...but I got all the way through this one and I'm listening again...and again while cleaning or driving. It's totally worth every penny ❤! You might want to buy the book or keep a tablet to write down her references for you to use...there are lots of good ones. I'm going to start writing in a journal before bed so that I can try to untangle the clutter in my brain that is keeping me from moving forward. I like that she says my excess weight is clutter, relationships that are draining me and causing emotional reactions are clutter and forgiving people is clearing out brain clutter, finally, worrying is clutter! Those are all things I'm pretty sure 99% of us suffer from. Working on emotional clutter is tough...but she gives some great ideas for how to do it. I can't wait to actually try all of her suggestions.

Good history lesson from President Carter

Life on a farm in the early years after the depression in a small rural town. I liked hearing about how people survived back then. He was very frank when telling how his family was better off than others especially the Blacks. I still enjoyed listening to him tell how he spent his time and what he learned growing up from his parents and others. My parents had a similar upbringing and never really liked to share the details. I'm sure it was much the same so it fills in the gaps. I recommend it to young and old.

Zachary Quinto - best known for his role as the Nimoy-approved Spock in the recent Star Trek reboot and the menacing, power-stealing serial killer, Sylar, in Heroes - brings his well-earned sci-fi credentials and simmering intensity to this audio-exclusive novella from master storyteller John Scalzi. One day, not long from now, it becomes almost impossible to murder anyone - 999 times out of a thousand, anyone who is intentionally killed comes back. How? We don't know.

Story
It was one of the most searing images of the twentieth century: two young boys, two princes, walking behind their mother’s coffin as the world watched in sorrow—and horror. As Princess Diana was laid to rest, billions wondered what Prince William and Prince Harry must be thinking and feeling—and how their lives would play out from that point on.

I'm looking forward to seeing all the good he and she and their family do here and around the world. Well done Harry, you are a Hero to your family.

Too personal for an almanac, too sophisticated for a domestic history, and too funny and self-doubting for a literary journal, One Man's Meat can best be described as a primer of a countryman's lessons and a timeless recounting of experience that will never go out of style.

I've just discovered EB White and I'm hooked! I buying everything he ever wrote, In book form, Audible and Kindle. My favorite so far is this and his Dog book. I had to order a copy from Half Price books across Country and can't wait to get my hands on it. He won all the awards even receiving the Presidential Metal of Freedom for his writings.
If you love dogs and farm animals you will love his writings. I haven't read his childrens books yet. I love his adult style of storytelling. Those are hard to find so get them while you can. Keep them for your children and Grandchildren too.

Tyler Merritt's video "Before You Call the Cops" has been viewed millions of times. He's appeared on Jimmy Kimmel and Sports Illustrated and has been profiled in the New York Times. The viral video's main point - the more you know someone, the more empathy, understanding, and compassion you have for that person - is the springboard for this book. By sharing his highs and exposing his lows, Tyler welcomes us into his world in order to help bridge the divides that seem to grow wider every day.

Ryland Grace is the sole survivor on a desperate, last-chance mission - and if he fails, humanity and the Earth itself will perish. Except that right now, he doesn't know that. He can't even remember his own name, let alone the nature of his assignment or how to complete it. All he knows is that he's been asleep for a very, very long time. And he's just been awakened to find himself millions of miles from home, with nothing but two corpses for company.

I know very little about Biology and Chemistry yet I still enjoyed the book. The relationships in the story were very interesting. The story was very interesting! Just enough humor to break up the drama . Totally worth listening to. Ray Porter sounds just like Tom Hanks. if they make a movie out of this book Tom would be perfect for the lead.
Ray is just a wonderful narrator! I'll listen to anything he performs.
