Rosamund Pike has a future in audiobook narration if she ever decides to stop acting. This was amazing and well worth the listen. I can’t wait to hear the whole series with her narrating it.

Loved it

It took just a minute or two to get used to the new narrator for Kate, but once I did, she really worked for me. And after only a few sentences, I realized Curran’s narrator was the same one who does the GraphicAudio Curran, and he is excellent.
The storylines were great - loved revisiting the couple and their son, and Keelan was a favorite of my husband. I can’t wait to hear more about the Wilmington Years!

Roxy Quinn - tattooed goddess, daughter of punk rockers, and general beautiful badass - thought she’d never see Edward Cavendish III again. The wealthy British hotelier wandered into her dingy New York City tattoo parlor, a little drunk and a lot brokenhearted. And very, very charming. After a night of panty-disintegrating passion, Roxy sends him on his way. She has zero time to pursue the suit-wearing sex god. Not when her business is failing. Not when her employees are counting on her.

Great narration

I loved the female narrator - she did Roxy, Edward, Roxy’s parents, and Fiona perfectly. The male narrator was good, but he didn’t impart the same cadence for the Roxy parts - I never felt like it was quite right when he said lines in her voice. I would have loved to see this as a duet narration!
The book itself is fantastic - I read it long before the audio came out, and adored every word. Roxy & Edward’s push/pull relationship was sublime.

Petkoff loves Lothaire
Reviewed: 10-03-20
Based on how amazing this performance was, Robert Petkoff must love doing Lothaire’s voice, accent, and everything about him. Certain line deliveries were exquisitely done, simple perfection. If you love the book itself, you owe it to yourself to hear it performed.

Great book with an amazing narrator

Listening to Petkoff narrate this made me like Cadeon more than I did when I read it. There was only a few times where I think the South African accent seemed to fall into the Wroth brothers’ Estonian accent.
