A sapphic dark Medusa retelling? Sign me up.
The topics are heavy, and the male rage is real. I felt so many things while reading this and it was so heartbreaking. Lex and Luna were so much in the best ways. They’re such a great couple and the character growth! This book was just so good and the audio really made it. Check it out! Thanks to Valentine PR for the ALC

This one was an interesting book for me. I love enemies to lovers and fake marriage/ marriage of convenience tropes. Isla and Liam had chemistry and sparks from the very first scene together. The banter and the teasing were funny at first, but then it got to the point where Isla was just plain mean… Liam changed his tune, admitted his feelings, he tried SO HARD, he wanted a real marriage with her and she was STILL pushing him away with only 40 mins left of the book. She pushed him away at every turn and he still came back each time. I understand that she has to work through things, but towards the end I was wondering if Liam was going to keep coming back at all…That aside, the narration was great, the spice was good, and I loved the side characters and the found family vibe.
I’d say give it a try, but keep in mind that Isla is infuriating sometimes! Also, ladybird reminds me of the dog on King of the Hill

“That’s my wife”

This one was so good! I loved every minute of Wren and Blakely’s relationship. The “that’s my wife” moments, and how Wren is a super softie for Blakely. UGH I loved it. And the spice? Absolutely yes. The narration was good but sometimes there were accents in certain places that weren’t consistent through the whole book, which was a little weird. Otherwise the VA was pretty good! All in all, read it, listen to it and then come back and tell me how much you loved it. Thank you to Valentine PR for the arc!
