Story
From breakout stand-up comedian Iliza Shlesinger comes a subversively funny collection of essays and observations on a confident woman's approach to friendship, singlehood, and relationships. "Girl Logic" is Iliza's term for the way women obsess over details and situations that men don't necessarily even notice. She describes it as a characteristically female way of thinking that appears to be contradictory and circuitous but is actually a complicated and highly evolved way of looking at the world.

This is the first time I've listened to a book and immediately wanted to replay it again. So damn good. Iliza helped me understand that my erratic thought process isn't crazy. It's just girl logic.

Story
From the break-out star of BuzzFeed and the People's Choice Award-winning comedian comes a collection of hilariously anguished essays chronicling awful moments from his life so far, the humiliations of being an adult, and other little indignities. Matt Bellassai has no idea what he's doing. Well, to be fair, he did become semi-Internet famous by getting drunk at work, making him a socially-acceptable - nay - professional alcoholic. He's got some things figured out. But the rest is all just a terrible, disgusting mess.

I loved this book. I listened to it at work and while cleaning at home. I found Matt's voice to be soothing and his stories to be a both relatable and just plain funny. I'll definitely be listening to this one again. He really nailed it.

This book was so cute and funny. I felt I could relate to so much of it and I think you will too. Anna is one of the few celebrities (in my opinion) that seems genuinely kind and down to Earth. I think she did a great job with this book.

David Spade is best known for his harsh "Hollywood Minute" sketches on SNL, his starring roles in movies like Tommy Boy and Joe Dirt, and his seven-year stint as Dennis Finch on the series Just Shoot Me. When my eyes are closed, the monster can't see me. When I sing a song in my head, the monster can't hear me. This entire series is AMAZING!
Reviewed: 10-03-17
This series has been by far my favorite, and I've read/listened to many books. I've never experienced duet narration before and it just added to this amazing series.
Sometimes in a story there'll be two narrators, both male and female. You'd think that the female would voice the female characters and the male would voice the male characters. (Not trying to sound sexist. It's just what we're used to hearing, with women often having higher voices and men often having lower ones.)
So it gets kind of confusing when the female narrator voices both the male and female characters during the female character's pov, and when the male narrator voices both the male and female characters during the male character's pov. It gives each character two separate voices, that often sound so different, and it can be confusing.
However, this series doesn't do that, and I'm eternally grateful for it. This has been my first experience with back and forth narration. Will M. Watt only voices the male characters and Kylie C. Stewart only voices the female ones. It makes for a great reading experience and it's much more clean cut and realistic. Pepper Winters did an excellent job on this series and the narrators brought it to life in my mind. You should definitely check this series out. <3

"You say I'll never own you. If I win - you willingly give me that right. You sign not only the debt agreement, but another - one that makes me your master until your last breath is taken. You do that, and I'll give you this." Nila Weaver's family is indebted. Stolen, taken, and bound not by monsters but by an agreement written over 600 years ago, she has no way out. She belongs to Jethro as much as she denies it.

Story
Nila Weaver has grown from naïve seamstress to full-blown fighter. Every humdrum object is her arsenal, and sex...sex is her greatest weapon of all. She's paid the first debt. She'll probably pay more. But she has no intention of letting the Hawks win. Jethro Hawk has found more than a worthy adversary in Nila - he's found the woman who could destroy him. It's a fine line between hatred and love, and an even finer path between fear and respect. The fate of his house rests on his shoulders, but no matter how much ice lives in his heart, Nila flames too bright to be extinguished.
