Robert Greene is a master guide for millions of listeners, distilling ancient wisdom and philosophy into essential texts for seekers of power, understanding, and mastery. Now he turns to the most important subject of all - understanding people's drives and motivations, even when they are unconscious of them themselves. This book far exceeded all expectations!

I can't put into words how thoroughly I enjoyed each chapter of this book. The first 16-17 chapters absolutely blew me away! Not to mention, the most beautiful closing chapter to a book I have ever read or heard! I would highly recommend this book to anyone interested in learning - especially if you're interested in sociology, psychology, self-improvement (though, this isn't particularly "self-help"), history, and/or philosophy.

Why I Am Not a Christian

Story
Dedicated as few men have been to the life of reason, Bertrand Russell has always been concerned with the basic questions to which religion also addresses itself - questions about man’s place in the universe and the nature of the good life, questions that involve life after death, morality, freedom, education, and sexual ethics. He brings to his treatment of these questions the same courage, scrupulous logic, and lofty wisdom for which his other work as philosopher, writer, and teacher has been famous.

I loved it!

As said by a few other reviewers, I share their minor annoyances with the debate chapter, and the voice representations performed by the narrator. With that entirely aside, I loved this compilation of essays, and everything else included in it! Definitely a top recommended book!

Story
In The Madness of Crowds Douglas Murray investigates the dangers of ‘woke’ culture and the rise of identity politics. In lively, razor-sharp prose he examines the most controversial issues of our moment: sexuality, gender, technology and race, with interludes on the Marxist foundations of ‘wokeness’, the impact of tech and how, in an increasingly online culture, we must relearn the ability to forgive.

A fantastic book, with a very important message. For a better understanding of the increasing social-political chaos we've all witnessed, this book is a must read.
