This story keeps you on the edge waiting to hear what’s going to happen next with both the individual characters & the catastrophe the communities are living with. I couldn’t help but wonder about how close this story is to a possible reality in the future. I’ve already downloaded book 4!

Narrator not the best
Reviewed: 12-08-18
I love all Lee Child - Jack Reacher storylines and this was no exception. However I found the narrator for this extremely difficult to listen to which is disappointing because I purchased book 21 and 22. His tone and expression were repetitive and at times annoying and I found it took away my concentration for the story.

Raised and trained as part of a top-secret programme, he was sent to the worst places in the world to do things his government denied any knowledge of. Then he broke with the programme and disappeared. But now someone's on his tail. Someone who knows he was once known simply as Orphan X.
