The Best of Jackie
Reviewed: 03-29-24
I'm not sure if this is the best of Jackie because it's the first book of hers that I've read. there is a plethora of beautiful messages that she has to offer and she presents them beautifully in her voice. she is unwavering in her faith and a major cheerleader and force of encouragement for those whose faith is struggling or wavering.

Using his intuitive feel for the exact book a reader needs, Perdu mends broken hearts and souls. there are sensual scenes that are quite graphic and descriptive. this book obviously has a strong French influence and if it were a movie it would certainly be rated R with the descriptive nudity. it is an adventurous story of the Bookshop and relationships and even some regret.

Action packed. only a few swear words.

This grabbed me from the first paragraph. The best part of this book for me was that the vocabulary was outstanding. The quality of Audrey 's vocabulary was refreshing as she was able to create an intensely action packed story without obscenities and vulgarity. The narration was outstanding with appropriate accents. I look forward to more of Audrey's work.
