Must Read!

This book has left me astounded. Astounded that doctors and scientists have been ignoring the research and have kept perpetuating falsehoods and bad advice concerning obesity. How many people have been harmed and suffered from low self esteem because those they trusted refused to accept the science behind obesity? This book at least attempts to set the record straight. Those fortunate enough to come across this book will be enlightened. The book is well written, and the science is explained in such a way the ordinary person can understand. The best feature of the book is the plethora of examples from human studies to support his theories. I'm convinced that conventional knowledge about how to lose weight and keep it off has been wrong or missing key components. I ordered two hard copies of the book in order to share with others. You will not want to keep this knowledge to yourself.

Comprehensive and Applicable

This book is well researched and authoritative. Dr. Fung puts forth solid arguments for each of his points. The narrator did a pretty good job expressing the tone of the book. I've heard Dr. Fung speak and his tone came across clearly in the narration.

This was super educational, super useful, and timely. It confirmed some things that I already believed from experience and challenged other things that I thought were true.

The section on artificial sweeteners and the reaction of insulin to them was a big eye opener to me. This book made me change my behaviors. Anyone who wants to improve their health should give this book a listen.

I highly recommend it!

great book that changes how you view dieting

this has changed how I view dieting and weight loss. I started incorporating the views and saw changes within first week. this is my bible now on health. I have even recommended and passed on to family.

Must read

It's not only what you eat, but when to eat it. I was focused only on what to eat. This proposal that obesity is a hormonal issue is very important to understand. I think you are going to enjoy this book and of course, the most important thing is to apply it.

Change of heart!

I had initially wrote a negative review for this book, but after doing more research and opening my mind a little bit, I realized that Dr. Fung is dead on. This book has lots of facts on how the body works and cites many human based studies. His arguments are sound, logical and most importantly, based on facts!

Take it from a fat boy..listen carefully..🐷

Man where to start...I loved this book...I've been living with fatness all my life, anything you can say about fat people I have heard....somethings I have been forced to endure carry little weight compared to the medical consequence I have faced in 70+ years of life.
I for one am adopting these principles because I believe they are correct for me.
If you've tried a bunch of diets and fads only to fail...this book may be a credit well spent

Game changer. This is THE book on living a healthy life

I just read this book for a 2nd time. I had been practicing a lot from my first reading but came back and realized I needed the refresher and fine-tunes things even more. I just finished my first 10 day fast. I am the healthiest I’ve ever been in my life and it’s due to this book and what it teaches. I feel like with some of the additional things I picked up from my second read that I have completely cracked the code to attain my goal of not only living past 100 but being of sound mind and body while getting there. LOVE THIS BOOK. I would recommend to everyone to follow this book wit the Complete Guide to Fasting by Jason Fung. It is the perfect 1-2 punch

Mind bending stuff

It's a mandatory book for any human being. This is not just for fat and sick people. Eye opening, life changing book. Not only lost 15 pounds, but I feel like another human being... Sharp, focus, less anxious, not depress. My mind feels almost like got super powers. I can't recommend enough this book. Go through it till the end no matter what you think is right or wrong!!
