Story
Actor Kelsey Grammer, best known for his roles in the TV sitcoms Cheers and Frasier, delivers Bitter Brew, a compelling mystery featuring Detective Bill Walsh, an upstate cop in the quiet, rural town of Beatriceville, 200 miles north of New York City, who suspects foul play in the death of millionaire city transplant Jonathan Kimball, even though the evidence points to suicide, not murder.

I enjoyed the story. Hated the narrator. Steamy sexy scenes that would have been more enjoyable with a different narrator. Narrator sounds like her dentures are slipping....weird noises in the back. Someone get Sebastian York on this mess please.

If you could sum up First to Kill in three words, what would they be?
exciting, action, charged
What did you like best about this story?
I like Nathan's no nonsense way of catching and dealing with bad guys. No bull.
Have you listened to any of Dick Hill’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
Yes. I enjoy Dick's performances.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
I wouldn't say extreme, but i did enjoy this book very much, enough to purchase the kindle version of the second book.

Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?
No. I would recommend the book as it is an interesting story. I am having a problem getting through the audio book. The narrator is terrible. Her voice and cadence makes my eye twitch.
Would you be willing to try another book from Daniel O'Malley? Why or why not?
Sure. Not if it is the same narrator.
How did the narrator detract from the book?
The narrator is annoying.
